I love limes, not many drinks require them but because I prefer cocktails with limes I tend to judge bars based on their limes... freshness. The Kraken has the freshest limes I?ve had in at least a year. I understand that it may not always be easy to stockfresh limes based on demand but theirs was by far the best, no bad aftertaste and I really enjoyed it. Their cider on tap wasalso very good. 10/10 definitely recommend! Read more
I've been here several times. It is dark and quirky. Drinks are good and bartender is a talkative guy that knows the usual... customers (I am not one of them) but it is still sweet. They have good burgers. If you are looking for high end lookelsewhere. It is definitely a normal, neighborhood bar. They have pinball. Read more
The Kraken Bar & Lounge in the U is awesome and rad and stuff. A nautical punk dive bar is what the world needs more of.
Derek is an awful bartender. Doesn't know how to make drinks. Was super abusive towards his coworker. Bad hygiene. Really... recommend management check out who they have dealing with the public...aka customers.... Read more
