A great experience, team, and delicious food. It is rare to find a fully vegan sushi restaurant and this is a dream come true.... Love place with outdoor and indoor seating and great food. We tried 4 rolls and they were all interesting and fun. Definitelygoing back. Would love to go with friends and order a sushi boat experience. So hope they add that to the menu over time.It’s so new and it’s just going to get better. Also, wish they would not use the single use plastic containers for thewasabi and ginger. Read more

i always go to kamakura in fremont for vegan sushi but just found out about this 100% vegan sushi spot and you know i had to... come it’s all sooo delicious ???? vegan or not, gotta pay the samurai a visit!! and the staff their is simply ?amazing? Read more
The Sushi Samurai changed to 100% vegan two weeks ago! You can tell by the staff they care a lot about the change, and thus... their restaurant and environmental responsibility. Great news, their vegan sushi is amazing!! They ran out of salmon today dueto the popularity, so I am definitely coming back to try it. Looking forward to that day! Read more
Delicious food with beautiful presentation. Maybe you’re vegan or maybe you watched Seaspiracy and you’re trying to cut down... on the damage caused to marine ecosystems by commercial fishing, either way I’d highly recommend this place. I can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. We had special dinner reservations for a UW graduation dinner. Raymar... was the absolute best and made the night special. We had a mixed group of adults, teenagers and kids and Raymar handled it allwith grace. The sushi was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, presentation was on point, service was fast, and we had the whole outdoor cottagearea to ourselves. Just wow, go try it already! Read more
We always look to find the local owned spots when we travel and luckily we came across Sushi Samurai yesterday after brewery... hopping in the Ballard area! As you can see from the pictures, the food was incredible but the experience was made by sitting atthe sushi bar- we learned it’s family owned and Ben the sushi-making-lord himself gave us a very welcoming Seattle experience!Highly recommend ???????? Tastes and feels exactly like "real" sushi! I walked in unaware that it was vegan, but decided to try it anyways, small place,... could be tidied up a bit but the food was so delicious it made up for everything. Their presentation is top-notch???? I was soblown away by how realistic it and yummy it was. The prices are 20$ or more a roll which is beyond my budget, but they have a12$ roll if you want to try it. Read more
