I live in the neighborhood and come here Semi frequently. The atmosphere is cozy, the donuts are good, and it's always fun to... see the Families here enjoying their morning. Laura is always nice and personable. She patiently waits for me to fish my coffeecard ( 4 punches to go!) Out of the bottom of my bag, and has tailored recommendations. She even let me know that their pumpkinbread is made with local pumpkin, and could name the farm! If you're at the library, or thinking about going to the Starbucks upthe street, stop on by! Would be five star if they make enough maple bars for the weekends until 10 am at least. I get it these are the best bars in... town, but knowing that. You would think to make more just two more! :-) Read more

Part of any authentic Seattle experience is a visit to Top Pot Doughnuts. Sure you love their fabulous doughnuts which are... substantial in size and filled with good tasting deliciousness. When the higher powers created doughnuts Top Pot's well-madecircles of tastiness was what they had in mind. I stopped at this location in the Ravenna neighborhood. I did things right bycalling ahead and ordering 3 dozen assorted donuts from Laura. When I arrived all was ready including the world's cutest tinycarton of milk. Service was great and made special by friendly Laura that compelled me to write a review. Tyler helped as welland both allowed me to take this pic because, well, they're just special people on a lovely Spring day. Top Pot doesn't hireordinary people, nor do they make ordinary doughnuts. I know, I have what some might graciously describe as a doughnut-friendlybody. Like donuts I am delicious, filled with a fruit center and always good for a meeting, event or snack! Doughnuthumor!! Stop into Top Pot and celebrate being alive, being outside, smiling friendly faces and (oh yeah) that delicious treatwith a hole in the center that we call DOUGHNUT! Read more
