Glad Union has reopened. The new location has a great vibe, with plenty of open space and socially distant tables.\n\nService... was a little slow initially, but it looks like they have more staff now and it’s much better.\n\nThe food is great! I’ve hadseveral meals from their menu and was surprised by all of them, especially the breakfast burger on the Sunday Brunchmenu.\n\nThe spot is great for happy hour, a night out with friends or Sunday brunch. A cosmopolitan feel with a Cheers like atmosphere, this bar does an excellent job at creating an accessible, inclusive space for... the entire LGBTQIA+ Community. Not to mention their food and service is SURPRISINGLY high-quality for a bar. 5/5 recommend. Read more

I\'ve always enjoyed Union\'s atmosphere and food. I went yesterday for the first time since re-opening. At this point, I\'m... only comfortable going to places with outdoor space or large windows that open and are keeping people an appropriate distanceapart. I was very impressed with how Union is doing things! They have clear directions on the floor on how to enter, they have asign asking you to wait to be seated. They ask you if you\'ve been here yet since reopening, and if you haven\'t they explainthe rules before seating you (much appreciated). There are several and I think they are well thought out. It looked a littlecloser outside, but the indoor seating (with big windows open) was being done with more like 12 feet of space between peoplethan 6 feet. They are extremely well organized and are carrying out the rules really well. Our server was also very nice, pleasant, and helpful. I felt safe there and my friend I had a wonderful time being able to be out at a favorite spot and relaxand enjoy it. Thank you so much, Union! We needed this! Read more

If you miss Lobby Bar or Purr, Union is the bar for you! It has a very similar\nvibe to classic Seattle gay bars like Purr and... most of the staff from Purr. Beautiful Outdoor patio and the friendlies bartenders on the hill. Read more

Given the other Cap Hill options, Union feels like the most inclusive gay bar that’s just not catering to one gay stereotype... (diesel, pony, queer bar, eagle). They have a great indoor and outdoor fire, friendly staff and good drinks. Unfortunately onseveral visits the bar area has wreaked of vomit. Read more

Union hasn\'t been open for too long, and I went with some friends to check it out. I\'m digging the place.\n\nThere is a nice... outdoor patio space, not big but adequate for seating maybe 5 or 6 groups of 4 or so. There\'s another room with a lot ofwindows/natural light and tables with a fire place and couches around. That room had more of a restaurant feel than abar.\n\nThen there was the big room with the actual bar. Long with the bar in the middle of the room and seating around it.Additional seating on one end, mostly stools and counters.\n\nDrinks are reasonable, decent pours on well drinks for $7. Foodmenu seemed good, also not badly priced.\n\nI think the service was good but lacking in some areas - the table service serverneeded some prompting to come to us as he glossed over us a few times. But it ended up being fine.\n\nWe came on a Thursdayafternoon and it wasn\'t crowded or quiet - a happy medium. Definitely a good overall feel to it from the crowd and atmosphere.Looking forward to seeing how this places evolves over time. If the prices on food and drinks don\'t start going up, this couldbe a fun new regular place to go to. Read more
