How come this place has such a high rating?! Food is edible at best, even to Americanized Chinese food standards. Hands down... some of the worst I have had across the U.S. Case in point, the sweet and sour pork is skimmed - for 18 bucks, there are a fewpieces of heavily battered, tasteless pork, random mix of canned pineapple and chopped apple (why?!) and raw onion. The food was great ????! Though not a fan of the lo mein it was good and I still ate a little out of that dish. Went with some... coworkers and we shared a few dishes! The were pretty good. Now, if I go by their taste they also wanted the food to be morespicy so they got some Chile spices foe their food! So if you like your food spicy you have access to Chile type sauce spice! Great food, great location, great vibes. A little too pricey. The new (one year old) all-vegan menu is amazing, though!! So many... traditional dishes made vegan. The pepper tofu is so so so good. My wife and I split the Mongolian duck and the Orange duck. Themock-duck is really flavorful. It is glutenous, which gives it a "real" duck-like taste. The staff was so nice and everyoneseemed like they knew each other (we were sitting on the bar side of the house) so the atmosphere was really friendly, too! Read more
Amazing VEGAN Chinese Food! High Quality texture, flavor, and ingredients. Jenny was a phenomenal server. So kind and warm and... sweet. Wonderful first experience. I even saw her be so caring to some family's kids. She escorted the little girl to the sink,who needed help to wash her hands and said "come, sweetheart." As she took care of this little girl while her parents got torelax. Then she gifted the kids some treats. They gifted this family some rice noodles since the cooks accidentally put egg inthe dish we ordered. Before they even could bring it to us so we could notice, she gifted us rice for our other dish and quietlygot the cooks to make us a new noodle dish. Spectacular service. Great energy here. Visited this place while in Seattle. I quick walk from my hotel. AWESOME Chinese food! Although menu looks the same as our... East coast places, food was prepared a bit differently, different sauces, few different ingredients, etc. The food here wassome of the best I have ever had! Services was excellent, friendly. Even got some drinks.. I had a Kraken and coke ( (NHLOFFICIAL DRINK-Seattle kraken start soon) and a Chinese Margaritas.. both excellent. This is definitely on my "gotta come back" list. Read more
