I love the atmosphere of this cafe and the staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming. I got a seat right away and the... service was really fast. I ordered off Guy Fieri's recommended menu. The serving size was quite large (I think I was only ableto eat a quarter of it- so it would make for great leftovers). The toast was really delicious, and the meal itself was good, butI found it lacked flavour. It was bland and could have used some more spices and a crispier texture. Read more

Great food with crazy portion, and the service is also really good! Smokey the salmon is really good, the salmon is savory and... marinated well, stirred with scallion and egg makes it a perfect dish! The hash brown is also crispy on the outside and softinside. Plus, it is literally filled over the plate! You also got four pieces of toasts (or two whole pieces) pan fried withbutter. It really delicious and makes a great breakfast. The price is super reasonable with around 12-13 dollars. You will bereally full and satisfied with the breakfast here, a definitely recommended brunch in the area! Read more

This is now my favorite breakfast diner in the Seattle area :) Great portions, friendly service, and some fun menu items with... Greek inspired twists, and a Hawaiian special Loco Moco this week. The chicken fried steak absolutely slapped - nice and crispywith a flavorful gravy, very crispy hashbrowns, and buttery toast with jam. Their house hot sauces are very good too, both beingdelicious although I personally didn't think either was spicy. Boyfriend LOVED how much feta was on his "Greek Hobo". Definitelycoming again to try their smoked pork eggs bennie which I heard are mind-blowing. :) Read more

Amazing brunch place with unique Greek touch and hash brown done right ? The omelet I ordered was unique as it contained Greek... sausage and feta cheese. I learned how good the melted feta cheese can be, since feta is usually used as salad topping. TheBenedict was warm and had load of hollandaise sauce, enough to be used as dipping sauce for port, poached egg, and muffin. Butmost importantly, the killing part is the bed of hash brown hiding under. They are perfectly crispy yet not too oily. My to-gobrunch place near UW has been Portage Bay Cafe, but now I am torn between two. Read more

Voula's Offshore Cafe is an old school diner with a big breakfast menu. No-frills and fast service and a community vibe. I had... the Carl's special which is scrambled egg with mushrooms and country sausage, served with a ton of hash browns and buttedtoasts. The portion is generous but the taste is a tad too light. Overall it's pretty decent, but I don't think I would wait ifI have to. (Arrived around 9am on a drizzling Friday morning and no wait.) Read more

Perfect little diner located near the U District with some of the best breakfast I've ever had. They have an entire grill just... for cooking hash browns! The bacon is that perfect texture and thickness, the hashbrowns are nice and crispy outside and hot andsoft inside. I went back a second time a few weeks later and tried the chicken fried steak and it was done up just right. Thegravy was really good and the patty was crispy, not soggy or greasy like other diners I've been to. They're only open until midafternoon and serve a great variety of dishes, including lunch items. If in Seattle, I'd highly recommend making the trek atleast once. Earlier the better because they can get super busy. They also have a walk up window outside for ordering in the goand covered outdoor seating as well Read more
