Whisky West is one of our favorite local spots. Delicious food and an incredible selection of whisky. Plenty of beer and other... cocktails as well. Their barrel-aged IPA is a must-try. The staff is wonderful. We held our wedding reception here lastsummer and worked with the bar manager Holly for multiple months planning the event. Holly was a joy to work with, spendingmany hours with us ironing out every last detail. She worked with us prior to the event to do several iterations of drink andfood sampling, and we came up with a completely custom menu we loved. The entire staff, and Holly especially, made us feel verytaken care of. This spot is a neighborhood gem, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone - whether for grabbing a quick post-workdrink or hosting a major event. They’ll make you feel right at home. Read more

I've only been here twice, but I don't plan to return. My first visit, there were probably two other people in the bar but my... food took more than 10 minutes to come out. (All ai ordered was a side of fries). Also, I got margherita (I know, not a whiskeydrink) but it came in a rocks glass filled with ice. It couldn't have been more than 3 ounces of liquid it was $12. My secondvisit, the bartenders up front greeted me with a grimace. Then, the female bartender (who I am sure was drunk by the way sheslurred/wobbled) proceeded to be extremely rude about my ID (granted it was a vertical). All in all, it is too expensive forthe quality of drink. And, while I understand wanting to cover your a** from the liquor board... Maybe don't be drunk on the jobwhile you lecture people about it? The place was fun. They were doing a high school reunion so it was a little odd, but our service was good and the atmosphere was... fun. Larger selection of whiskey, bourbon and scotch than most bars/pubs. They did have something for everyone at every pricepoint. The food was really good, tots were crispy and the pickle fries and cheese curds were top notch. Would like to revisit ona non event night, the food and service are a recommended any night of the week. Read more

Great selection of whisky and other booze, but mediocre food, lousy bartender, and horrific service. Seriously, the worst... service I've experienced in any restaurant or bar in over two decades. I will never go back Read more

A hidden oasis for whiskey lovers and Bourbon bonvivants of all stripes. Cozy atmosphere, flights, and best pours on the West... Seattle Peninsula. Visit wednesdays through Saturdays to get the "Joe" experience, hands a down one the most knowledable andpersonable whiskey slingers in the PNW. Read more

The staff was knowledgeable to the Whisk(e)y they were selling and were able to make relevant suggestions based on what we were... drinking. Overall the atmosphere was warm and inviting and not at all a bougie crapshack. Very down to Earth. The food was onpar for what you'd expect from high tier bar. We loved the Brussel sprouts and the wings.. And finally the whisky: there are somany options including bottles no one in my group knew existed. I love hunting for unique bourbons and scotch and I was inheaven Read more

I love Whisky West. I seem to get the same server every time and he is so nice! The drinks are fabulous and I couldn’t be... happier with the food. I often tend to enjoy myself so much that I’m not paying enough attention and end up with a hefty bill.I love that there’s free parking also. This is definitely one of my go-to-places. Read more
