We in our home love each of the Yeti bars we have tried. Our favorites are the Glacier and the Oats and Honey they both foam up... nicely against the skin. The scent lasts all day and makes us feel clean all day. LOVE the YETI! Read more

I've visited this bar and the restaurant below quite a few times. I live very close and am generally fond of both. Let me break... down the Yeti Bar specifically: Pros: Location. It's pretty close to the rest of the Capitol Hill destinations and only abouta ten minute walk from Cal Anderson. It?s close to the ten and eight buses and the light rail. Food. The bar shares a kitchenwith Annapurna downstairs. The head chef very obviously loves what they do and cares very deeply about their craft. I don?tthink I?ve ever had anything that was actually bad, only food items that didn?t fit my tastes. The tandori chicken and tensingmomo are go-tos. The bar has a partial menu compared to the restaurant. The drinks. I?m partial to the frozen drinks they make, especially Anna?s Banana. I order it almost every time I go. I don?t care how girly it is; it?s delicious. My less picky friendshave ordered the cocktails on the menu and I have never heard a bad thing about a single one of them. Whoever planned this menucares very much and knows what they?re doing. Cons: This is a big one: the service. It alone cost the bar three stars in myreview. I never go when the bar has more than a handful of people because it seems like I?m always waiting forever. I?ve been torestaurants with good food and bad service and have gone back; I?ve been to places with great service but mediocre food and havegone back. I try really hard not to judge a place too harshly on one criteria, especially since there's so much that goes intohaving a successful eatery, but after a certain point, you really can ignore it anymore. The service in the downstairs isn?tstellar either, but you can tell they're trying, which I can?t say for the Yeti bar. Now, this is where it gets weird? Anotherreviewer and a fellow local guide called out a bartender that I also had issues with during my last visit, described as ?palewhite with a shaved head.? I also had the exact same experience, ?He never acknowledged us Read more

This place is FANTASTIC. Their drinks are legit, their happy hour is an amazing deal, the bartender was incredible, the food... delicious, and to top it off there was delightful Bollywood going on the TV. Read more

Rude and Racist Bartender named ADAM. We went to this place while waiting for our table at Annapurna! And in most cases,... Needless to say we are an interracial couple ( I'm black)- however, not in this instance. We sat at the bar, directly in theline of sight of the bartender who happens to be pale white with a shaved head. He never acknowledged us. FOR 15 minutes!! Hewaited on every other white person that walked into the bar after us. Without even a hello. Finally a waitress came over and served us. We sat there and enjoyed our drink while waiting for our table. He still never greeted us. He only put the bill infront of us to pay. I will NEVER patronize this establishment again! Read more
