Lovely place with vibrant veggies, chewy noodles, and a meat filled potstickers appetizer that eats like a meal. It?s a quiet... small space where the sounds of reverent gestation is punctuated by frequent exclamations of delight. The staff is attentive andbrilliant but they truck in no foolishness. Yummy cafe is for serious people who seek yummy food. Read more

Trust me stop here and give it a try. The building and sign makes you scratch your head - because it isn?t fancy looking place... in an expensive area. But this is the best kept secret in this hood. Food is so fresh, Veggies are crisp. Order their egg fooyung - not on the menu but it is a must! Best one I have ever had and I have ever had and I am no spring chicken. Also, love theHong Kong style noodle! Service is excellent - family is kind and helpful. Delivery is quick - this place doesn?t miss on anylevel. Read more

Note: we ordered takeout and this was during the pandemic, so I imagine food quality was lower to prevent wastage. I'm not sure... where to start. We ordered 3 dishes. Prices were okay (~$14 for pork ribs, ~$10 for chicken, ~$11 for noodles) and serving sizeswere decent. Inside was clean, but we only ordered to go. Every dish we got had good parts and bad parts. Based on their menuand the food we got, this restaurant was probably catered more toward the typical American impression of Chinese food. The porkribs were stewed in a sweet sauce; some of the ribs were nice and juicy while others were fall-apart but dry. They were all toosweet. The bok choy that was included was bitter and ...hard? It's hard to describe, but something was definitely off aboutthose. The noodles were kind of bland, but perhaps the best dish among these. The mushroom taste was pretty prounounced, so ifyou like mushrooms, you might like these. But again, I thought they were kind of bland and nothing really special aboutthem. The chicken...the batter/crust was really thick and crunchy and salty, yet still managed to lack something. I think athinner batter would have been better. But the chicken itself was...unacceptable. Something tasted off about these wings so Itasted the meat itself and it really does taste like the chicken was on the verge of rotting before they were cooked. Thechicken was cooked through but you could tell it was slimy from going bad. I could not finish all of it, and no amount of batterand seasonings could mask the quality. Overall, I am disappointed and probably would not come again. However, I rated it 2stars because I am certain there are dishes that it excels at, I just don't know which. Additionally, I don't eat Chinesetakeout of similar quality very often so it's difficult for me to say whether this is a typical experience. (Also, we gotfortune cookies. Those were good lol) Read more
