Food is great, very authentic flavors! It is a bit on expensive side, but it is a worth for your money! Everything is very tasty... and very well platted as well. We like daulat ki chaat in desert. If Indian fusion places have disappointed you so far, likewise it did to me. This place will take you by surprise. Our host was... Skylar and he is just superb. We had a reservation and we were seated within a few minutes, had a corner table with nice view ofboth sides of the diagonals. The cocktails will blow your mind, and the food will hit your tastebuds just right. Top items totry for are Afghani chicken kebab, garlic prawn sambal, cottage on the pond. Both their dum biryanis are delicious, holding therelish taste of dum biryani and mystique aroma of fusion is just perfect. The restaurant is pretty expensive! About the food: the starters were good , but the quantity was very less. For the entree , we... got biriyani , chicken tikka masala and it was decent. The service is not so great, since the table was sticky and the place issmall. Overall, not a great experience but the food is good! Read more
It's was a good experience. The restaurant is a bit pricey because of it's unique dishes and presentation. Mumbai mule drink is... amazing. We also had paneer pinwheel which is basically a fancy presentation of panner butter masala. It's an appetizer but youhave the option of adding rice or naan to it. Cottage in the pond is worth trying. Wish the quantity was more though Daulat kiChaat is very famous for dessert. I felt it was okay. Very unique, no doubt. Probably the only place I have had something likethis. But felt as if was having whip cream with pistachios. Good quantity for a dessert though. May visit again to try out otherfancy small plates. We did not have plans to come here. We were drawn in from the streets just by the smell of good Indian food and the taste did... not disappoint. We ordered Mumbai Pav Bhaji, Daal Makhani, Goan Fish Curry, Cottage on the Pond, Goat Cheese & Peas Kulcha andMalabar Veg Dum Biryani. Each of these dishes were spot on and so were the drinks. We had Old fashioned, Bombay mule andManhattan. Both Jenny our hostess and Eric our waiter were outstanding!!! We left so happy with out tummies and heart full.Highly recommend this place!l. Enjoy!!
