Lots to do at Capt Hiram's and the associated bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is nice enough, although pretty humid in... the rooms (ours had a bit of a mildewy smell). Staff has always been fantastic here. Lovely, short walk to the beach where it'seasy to watch wildlife, including dolphins. The nightlife and food is fantastic (love the fried green onions!). They bringreally great live music to Sebastian and you'll see all types of people having the time of their lives here. Great drinks thataren't too expensive and lots of options with a few different bars around the place. Really fun and recommend staying or atleast coming for a night out if you're in town. Read more
We stayed in a marina view room above the Sandbar for our anniversary. It was a beautiful room with a great view. We had a blast... hanging out at The Sandbar and listening to the awesome live music daily!!! Adam was out favorite bartender...great drinks andfun to chat with! We also met a lot of locals who were all so nice and welcoming!! We would love to come back again and bringsome friends! Super fun place!! Read more
This is a beautiful, old Florida style resort. It is located directly on the river with beautiful views, has great food... available, and a wonderful staff. The rates are reasonable and the accommodations are very nice. Plus they have awesome cable!I would highly suggest staying at this resort, it?s in a great area with a lot to offer. Read more
Currently staying here for our anniversary, staying in the marina view room. When we walked into our room we were amazed with... what we walked into, a freshly beautifully remodeled room with amazing views!!! The room was super clean and everyone has beenso nice and inviting. Lots to do to keep you busy here on the property. Last night hung out at the sandbar and listened to thelive music. I love being able to sit on the balcony and listen to the live music and look at the amazing views of the marina.Will be back for sure Read more
A great place for the view, people watching and food and drinks. We stopped in for a couple drinks at the Sandbar and ordered... some peel and eat shrimp and calamari. The calamari was perfectly prepared. Light breading, fresh and great flavor. The peel andeat shrimp were huge and very good as well. They don?t skimp on the shots in the drinks either. Read more
This was a fun stay for me and my 10 year old grandson for the 4th of July! The staff was A M A Z I N G ! My grandson raved... about the coconut shrimp at the Sand Bar, and the music was quite nice! Our room was on the first floor and had a little patiooverlooking the pool. Everyone was very respectful of the rules and there weren't any wild parties once the fireworks werefinished. We shared a pizza with a lovely family who was babysitting a sweet Miniature Schnauzer and my grandson shared glowsticks with a new friend he met on the trip. The views of the river were memorable. Capt Hirams is easy to access, haseverything you need for a wonderful time, and the price was very reasonable. The room was very clean and quiet. I'd recommendthis hotel to others. Read more
Had such a great time here even though we weren't staying at the resort. A friend has a home in Sebastian and we love to stop by... for the drinks, food, ambiance, and friendly service. Adam was friendly, professional and attentive to each customer, even as itstarted to get busier. I had the Asian Tuna Nachos, which were phenomenal. I also ordered a house salad to round out the meal,and it was delightful. The live music was a great touch and easy to sing along with. Read more
We stayed 3 nights in a river view room. We were greeted by Courtney upon checking in. Courtney has a wonderful attitude and a... fun personality! What a gem! She made us feel welcome and that our every need would be taken care of. Our room was fabulous!Such a great view.. From the staff, accommodations , entertainment and food Captain Hiram?s delivers!
