Service was excellent but the food was cold. The atmosphere was like being in an assembly line.
The Hen House feels like being at mom's house and having her cook you breakfast. It's that quaint and warm. The servers were all... wonderful. But, like mom's breakfast, it's not extraordinary culinary creations. It's good, comfort food. So, as a restaurant,it's hard to give them a high score on the food. What we got, we could make at home for much less. If you're going to Hen House,you're going because you enjoy the hospitality, not the cooking. Don't let that make you think the food was bad. It wasn't. Itjust wasn't what you'd expect from a place that specializes in breakfast foods. Read more
went for breakfast at 12.30 pm. Eggs Benedict fantastic. After no menu, no cutlery after 10 mins I took them from next table.... Place was not busy the waitress were hanging by the back wall apparently not thar interested. The blond slim lady was busy so Iasked her who my waitress was. She passed the message on to the brown haired chubby girl who sauntered over to me. She wassurely and slow. My food was great. Waitress not nice I can go to country ham and eggs and get the same breakfast. Your chubbywaitress leaves a nasty taste in my mouth. I couldn't eat I was so upset. Took it in doggy bag. Read more
Went in for Father?s Day to have breakfast with my son and they weren?t full but decently busy so I was told sit at any open... table. So we did just that sat at the table for twenty minutes while watching other guest who arrived after us get greeted andserved. I know it?s Father?s Day and it?s busier that?s why we waited as long as we did but after twenty minutes without aserver even acknowledging us we decided to leave. Read more
The Hen house Eatery is a great choice for breakfast everything is fresh and professionally prepared we went for there for... breakfast and was wondering if it was a smart choice but we were wonderfully surprised at the experience had, we were greetedwith a smile, the quality of our meals were amazing .plus the atmosphere was very welcoming service was excellent it wasoverall a pleasant experience. Nice home town breakfast spot. Staff was kind and helped with menu selections. I had some yummy in my tummy stuffed cream... cheese french toast drizzled with berry compote. Don't forget the crispy bacon! Read more
The hen house is extremely busy. Not very friendly if you're handicapped or have trouble talking to staff has no patience. The... food wasn't bad the biggest problem was half of it was cold. If you're desperate for a restaurant a restaurant okay if not Iwould look other places because older concerned about is get you in out and the money. Read more
