Clam chowder was with fresh clams, chicken was crispy with great seasons ng,and burger was cooked to perfection. Cocktails were spot in. Made my daughter's birthday experience very special. Food is overpriced, presentation is good, service is friendly. The fried chicken would be great if it wasn't drenched in... chipotle mayo-like sauce. I recommend no sauce, maybe some sea salt and rosemary sprinkled on top. Collard greens and mac andcheese were tasty sides. Read more

The prime rib was wonderful. I couldn’t stop eating the mashed potatoes! The anchovies on the Caesar salad made the dish even... better, plus the plating was picture worthy. The mud pie was great and I highly recommend the panna cotta. My friend is comingback just for that! Read more

Place was overpriced for what it is, and the food wasn't great. Presentation is great, but flavor and execution wasn't great.... Several friends got the fried chicken this place is known for, but many of them didn't finish it because they didn't enjoy it. Igot the catch of the day, and it was basically eating sauce with a side of fish. I could barely taste the seafood with all thesauces drenching the dish. The tuna tartare I got was all right, but not worth the price, and same with the watermelon drink (Ibarely tasted any watermelon). Read more

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, convenient location, and truely delightful dishes. We enjoyed the rigatoni pasta, shrimp louis... salad, and a delicious mud pie for dessert. This was our first visit and we're looking forward to returning to try some of thedinners. Highly recommended. Update 7/1/2022. We've returned with friends this time. We enjoyed dinner on the patio. Theservice was impressive and the dinners delicious. We're already planning our next visit. Read more

A trendy place, and for a good reason. The food was excellent, and the service was great. Very modern, industrial decor with... very nice outdoor seating. The outdoor area is dog friendly. Read more

TLDR: First visit. Good food in a beautiful setting. Some menu items were outstanding yet others not as much. The service is... great. Will return. Ridge Kitchen is within The Barlow area of Sebastopol, CA. They offer unique twists on "southern comfortfood." There were four in our party and two of us had the Barlow Burger ($9.75) with a side of fries ($3). The presentationwas good, but I hate to say that the burger was mediocre. The potato bun was good as well as the fixings, but the meat was nottasty at all. It was a generously sized patty, but it wasn't grilled. Hard to understand in a place with a grill. Then themeat had little flavor. I won't say it was a commercially frozen patty but it sure tasted like it was and there was amouth-feel like it had fillers. Then the fries came out as requested (well done) but not hot. They're served with a sweetdipping sauce that was good. I feel bad saying this because so much of Ridge Kitchen seems to be about getting things right. Iwill come back, so look for an update. Now, the others ordered the following: Blue Ridge Drunken Fried Chicken ($28) and CajunShrimp Pasta ($29). First, the Chicken was outstanding. As the waiter said, "they spent a lot of time to get it right" usingvodka to elicit that extra crunch. The sauce, Kentucky Hot Butter, is drizzled over the top and took the dish to another level. Two sides complement the dish—mac & cheese and collard greens. I tried the greens which I liked very much, but I never gotthe chance to try the Mac because my companion ate it all (enough said). Personally, I don't go for seafood, but my friend whohad the Cajun Shrimp Pasta was very satisfied. It was a generous portion and more than enough shrimp. They did remark that itwasn't too spicy, so that's good or bad depending on your taste. Lastly, look at my photos of the refrigerator. You can seethe prime rib of beef from which they carve "The Tomahawk." Now that was one enticing view. I really wan Read more
