It was nice—Jack was a wonderful server. The steak was good, but just short of what I’m used to in Chicago…but a Chicago... steak of this quality would cost twice as much. Yes, it was good—not great, but good. Read more

I had a great time on the patio dancing and singing with fellow diners listening to the trio of guitar players called... De’j’vu! I came for the music and wasn’t disappointed ???? The service was great, some loud pollution from road but thecrowd & atmosphere was made up for it. Had Caesar Salad, needed more flavor. Great spirit menu. Great spot to return to for moremusic & try some other items on menu. Read more

We hosted our son's wedding rehearsal dinner for 46 guests on July 9th at Gravenstein Grill. We loved everything from the... cocktails to the delicious cheesecake. The Garden Patio was private and very pretty, and we are extremely grateful to the stafffor making this special dinner absolutely perfect. Read more

I have always wanted to start a review with "it was the best of meals, it was the worst of meals". In some ways, this describes... my experience at the grill. On Friday night I had the asparagus soup, and the famous burger. BOTH were outstanding. The burgerwas done perfectly and it didn't need any sauce or katsup. It was so good that I decided to go back the next night. Sadly, mynext meal didn't compare. I had the crab cakes, and the marinated steak. BOTH were a disappointment. The crab cake was cookedwell, but had a fishy taste, and the accompanying sauce was unimaginative. The steak was chewy and unimpressive. Both nights, Ialso had the hazelnut mousse which was delectable. I came back a 3rd day in a row and had the burger for lunch. Both the burgerand the salad were perfect, and this time I enjoyed the burger sauce which added a whole new dimension Read more

Came for a Friday brunch. Beautiful outdoor patio space. The special today was pork sliders on homemade sweet rolls and tangy... slaw and was phenomenal. We also ordered the Smoked Gouda Orzo Mac ‘n Cheese (good, not great) and Clam Chowder, which wasexcellent - hearty but not pasty. Would be 5 stars if not for the constant noise from Bodega Rd. Gravenstein Grill is always a luxurious treat. My family and I had Easter brunch there and it was great. We sat on the patio,... which had a beautiful ambiance with a live guitar player and gorgeous scenery. The food was delicious, though my only complaintwould be for their poached eggs. I love runny poached eggs but not everyone does so I might advice to order eggs accordingly foryour own taste. But over all, the food and drinks were great. And of course, service was spectacular. Our waiter was verypersonable and cheerful, which made the experience that much more enjoyable. This was my third time at Gravenstein Grill and Ihave not been disappointed once. Read more
