Sorry, very disappointing. Could it be Post-Pandemic?. Sushi was a dab of ingredient with a heavy layer of white rice wrapped... in tough seaweed. Had to knaw it to bite into it. Needed a knife. Not delicious like I was hoping. Inexperienced wait staff sonot their fault but no help with placing our order. It was a $72. Lunch special? The worst part, they had KSRO radio stationblasting into the dining area. I had to get out of my chair and walk over to the kitchen to request that they turn it down. Theywere oblivious..Be warned.. Overall a pretty decent local sushi restaurant, they have good specials at a reasonable price; I've dined here many times... throughout the years and they haven't changed much. The cucumber salad is top notch, their rolls are alright, but can vary insize (their spider roll is all girth and the rock and roll has a normal circumference, but was a bit loose). I typically do notdine in as the restaurant is on the cozier side and the service can be a bit slow, this time was no exception. For an occasionalbite to eat in town, this place fits the bill; but have time to wait...on everything. Read more

Sebastopol's premiere sushi restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food quality was tops. And you get a lot... for your money, to boot! Don't pass through this town without stopping in for a bite to eat. Read more

Store bought sushi is as good as, if not better. My family loves sushi so we?ve tried many restaurants through the years. We... recently moved to Sebastopol and tried Sushi Hana. It was shocking how bad this was. If I wasn?t the one who ordered it, I wouldhave assumed it was from Safeway. Sadly, we threw out more than half of it. Never again Read more

Came here with a friend and wasn't impressed. In fact, I was a little shocked. Disclaimer, I am from Sebastopol originally but... have lived in the Pacific Northwest for 10+ years. - Prices seemed kind of high for japanese food but this may be due tochallenges in acquiring the ingredients. We both ordered udon and that was around $14 each. At first it seemed too high but thebowl was loaded and couldnt even finish it. - Service was the shocking part. We arrived around 5pm for an early dinner andwanted to see the menu. Upon asking the woman (possible owner/manager) she barked at us to wait while she finished with her POSscreen. Handing us menus would have taken 2 seconds and she could have asked us to wait more politely. Then when payingafterward she told us the bill could not be split unless mentioned earlier. Having worked with POS systems this crucial functionis usually there but typically the operator doesnt know how to do it. Either way, it was again said in a tone that implied itwas our fault. This person single-handedly provided a shockingly bad customer service experience. - Food was below good andmediocre at best. Again we had udon and I'm from the Pacific Northwest so we get really good food like this up there. Portionswe plentiful but flavor was rather bland. Also, grilled chicken in udon seemed kinda odd but wanted to try it. Chicken was toodry and with the raw veggies it didnt go well together. - Atmosphere was fine and pleasant. The only two things that stood outwere 1) our table felt sticky and 2) my friend's napkin was dirty. - Alcohol options existed but we're not a focus. I dont evenrecall if they had beer on tap. It's wine country and more likely they had wine available. Not a huge factor as it wasnt part ofthe initial appeal. Ultimately, prices were a little higher than expected but may be due to portions. Food was mediocre at bestand service from that particular individual was shocking. Not many sushi places in Sebastopol and kind of Read more

My boyfriend and i went for dinner. It took about 2 minutes to be seated. For however busy it is you may choose your own. This... place definitely has the best tempera. Their steak is not chewy and the portions are always bigger than you expect. Theyredragon roll is excellent along with the miso soup. If you order udon it comes in a size simular to a salad bowl. Highlyrecommend. Been coming here for 6 years and the place has never made me feel ill. Read more

This is one of our favorite restaurants. We have been going here since my son was about 6 years old and he is now 28. Wednesday... and Saturday they have Buck Night, although I think the cost is about $1.25-$1.75 per piece now. I love that their crab dishesare all made with real crab, not the fake crab (pollock) that most restaurants serve. Their dinners are always delicious, too.My favorite is Ton (pork) Katsu, but the Tempura dishes are also great. We usually order the Sesame Chicken appetizer, which iscrispy perfection! Can't say anything bad about Sushi Hana. Wait service is even fantastic! Read more
