I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel it is necessary to share my experience here. The overall service was fine and our... hostess was polite but if you’re looking for quality sushi, this is not it. I ordered the Chirashi bowl. Chirashi is sashimiserved over sushi rice. What I received was odds and ends of fish, the leftovers from other cuts. For $32 dollars this dishshould not be scraps from other dishes, it should be actual sashimi cut for this dish. They were not pretty cuts, it wasliterally scraps. Pieces had skin hanging on it, slices were thin and and had no actual shape, texture and appearance were notfresh or appealing. People that don't know what to expect from a good sushi restaurant may not notice but I love sushi andchirashi is my favorite, this was highly disappointing. 2nd visit and both times excellent—super fresh sashimi, great speciality roll, and matcha butter cake to die for! Didn’t... care too much for the too spicy edamame (by itself) but brought it home and ate it with brown rice—delish. Friendly attentiveservice. Unhealthy food: Ordered the rice bowl with tofu & vegetables. Expected the veggies to be freshly prepared. The minimal veggies... were completely overcook or fried - flat/dead without any freshness to them. What made this dish palatable was the sweet stickysauce which probably was loaded with sugar. We got there with two other couples, aside from us, still waiting for their food. They have a small kitchen that is unable to... keep up with demand for sushi in this strip mall area. Multiple takeout orders came and went before anyone sitting receivedtheir food. The sushi itself was lackluster and not very well made. The waitstaff was very kind and apologized for the nearhour wait for three simple rolls, but I sense there is very little of value happening in the kitchen. Read more

Looking for lunch while running errands and found this unique restaurant. Greeted by a friendly hostess and a great server named... Nicki. The pork belly and kimchi bowl were filling and delicious. A carafe of sake was perfect for a really enjoyable lunch.Fantastic. Read more
We scheduled a reservation for 7:15pm Saturday, 9/3 at Sushi Kosho 20 minutes before arrival. When we arrived on time at 7:15pm... our hostess told us unapologetically that it would be “15-20 minutes” before our table would be ready. We sat at a dirty barwithout any service for 25 minutes before we finally left and went to a different restaurant. If Sushi Kosho were not preparedto serve us they should never have accepted the reservation they were not prepared to honor. Read more
