Wonderful service and wonderful food! I came in for lunch with my 6 year old son after a long and strenuous hike. He demolished... his kids burger and fries and said it was amazing, and I chose the taco salad with prime rib special. We both ordered in housemade ice cream after, which was also delicious! What a gem Judi’s restaurant is! We appreciate the intimate atmosphere, great food, and attentive service. We enjoyed a... perfectly cooked steak, scallops, and shrimp. The remainder of our party had a delicious Reuben and burger. Everything wascooked to perfection and tasty. The Pecan pie is not be missed. We highly recommend this restaurant. It is tucked away in agreat location away from the main tourist area which adds to the ambiance. Read more
The almond trout was well prepared, had good flavor, but was a tad on the dry side. Every one of the other four dishes at the... table (walleye, shrimp scampi, beef stroganoff, chicken piccata) were excellent. Desserts also were excellent too. The servicewas flawless. It was hard to find at the beginning because there's vines covering up the name of the Restaurant but after finding it we... noticed a really nice outdoor patio with a nice water feature and beautiful plants. Walking in the restaurant it has a verysophisticated feel to it, we were just coming from hiking a few trails so felt a little out of place lol But we were the onlytable there at the time so we sat down looked at the menu and ordered from the lunch menu, we were pretty hungry so it wouldhave been nice to have a little complementary snack (bread or something) the food didn't take too long though and it wasdelicious, we enjoyed everything we ordered and our waiter was great. Very cute little restaurant; very clean, nicely decorated with various little accents. Our server, Joseph was very nice,... attentive and helpful. My husband had liver and onions (not my thing ????) with a baked potato. He said it was good but he wouldhave preferred mashed potatoes. I ordered pasta pomodora with chicken added. Our friends ordered their steaks with differentspecifications- one was well and blackened, the other was without seasoning and medium-well. Unfortunately, the cook, switchedcooking temps as the blackened one came out cooked well. Joseph learned of the error but it was too late in the process -ourfriends didn’t want to complain and didn’t point out the error- still Joseph attempted to make it right and offered acomplimentary dessert, which was very nice of him- our friend got the BBCCCC pie - Butter brickle chocolate chip cream cheesepie - which we all had a bite of. It was very rich but quite good. Basically, it was an enjoyable evening and we woulddefinitely return. On a side note, I forgot to add. They have an odd policy, to me…. You cannot split food. Being a personwho does not eat large portions - I took over half of my pasta back to the condo. I do not normally share orders with my tablemates; however, the fact it wasn’t an option may be an issue for other diners when choosing a restaurant. Read more
Very cute and quirky decor inside. Oh my gosh, the food is super delicious. I had forgotten how much I loved the chicken... sandwiches here. ???? I believe the original Judi is no longer with us for some time now (????), but the restaurant carries onas excellent as ever. Highly recommend. Read more
