For a place that pretends pretentiousness, sorely lacking in follow through with the atmosphere. Steak was tender, but... overcooked with a thick crust of charcoal and rather flavorless. The crab and bread was the best part of the meal. The potatoeswere bland and dry as well with no garnish, sauce or indication of flavor to be found. Australian here. A year ago we were living in Seattle and decided to fly to Denver buy a car and drive back to Seattle. We... visited Lindey?s randomly as a part of that trip. I couldn?t remember the name of the restaurant but since this dinner I hadthought regularly about the old school vibe, the beautiful outlook and the simple menu with amazing food. The name says it all. Lindey's has three different cuts of top sirloin. We got the Lindey's Special (prime?). It was... perfectly cooked to medium rare. Also comes with a small iceberg lettuce salad, a potato cake and some tasty bread. We addedthe button mushrooms, which were excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. Read more
