We frequent this location almost every Sunday. For the most part the food is nothing spectacular, but fine for a step above fast... food. Tonight was horrible! I had the rise and shine breakfast burger. The burger was total grease,the hash browns wereextremely overcooked, and instead of the over easy egg it was hard. I couldn't even eat half of it because it was so grease itmade me feel sick. The waitress ask everyone else at our table if the needed a to go box, but never asked me. I informed thecashier of the situation and her response was sorry -- like to bad. She never offered a discount or a box for the leftovers. SoI paid for a nasty meal. Sad food, attitude, and service!! Very friendly staff. The food isn't worth the price though. It's decent food but still too pricey. The a/c sometimes goes on the... fritz but it's still a nice place to dine in for the home town abience. Read more
Got there at the end of breakfast so oatmeal was kinda old. If it would of been fresh and hot then it would have been perfect
They young lady that took care of us done a wonderful job. She was sure we had drinks, and ask a coue if we needed anything. The... food was good. The price was good . And the lady that checked us out was also very nice. Read more
7:15 on Tuesday morning was not very busy, and there was only one cook. In spite of that, it didn't take too long for the hot... food to make it to the table. We drank good, strong coffee while we waited & Roxanne made sure we stayed topped off. We bothordered the mini sampler. It might be mini, but it was filling. One egg (hubs got cheese on his), 2 strips of perfectly crunchybacon, a generous amount of fruit (grapes & cantaloupe) & 2 slices of banana bread for me, toast for him. The restaurant is open for inhouse dining and provides sufficient space for social distancing between customers and staff. Meal... portions were large and all food was cooked to order. The staff was friendly and helpful with answering questions or assistingwith other requests. There were a number of families with small children who were dining during our visit. After our meal, wewere told kids eat free on Tuesdays. Read more
Went for lunch. None of the food was seasoned, the eggs weren't as ordered (ordered over easy, got hard, no gravy, and only one... of the two eggs that normally come with meals). The pot roast was bland and I doubt anybody in the kitchen tasted any of it. Themashed potatoes tasted straight out of a box. Carrots were left in the cooker for far too long.
