Our servers name was Jordan, and he was phenomenal. We walked in and the restaurant was completely packed, but he was prompt and... genuine, was able to get our entire order in at once and made sure we didn't have any issues during our meal. He was overall anoutstanding server. We spoke to a manager about how amazing he was but also wanted to post it here to let everyone else know. My husband and I LOVE Cracker Barrel! It?s become our roadtrip pitstop for most of our drives. Many of the locations are pretty... much the same, and in the same way, I believe they all deserve 5 stars! They?re consistent, staff is friendly, and we alwayslove to shop around before or after we eat. Such a fun atmosphere, and a great place to bring the family. At this particularspot, we tried their seasonal biscuit beignets and they were so good! And we always love to share an order of pancakes. A more remote store behind the RV park. As you would hope the store is less crowded than other more accessible locations but the... staff doesn't seem any more friendly for the lighter load. Our waitress didn't visit the table but to take our orders and dropthe check, my empty tea glass went unnoticed. Seems like every male employee was hanging out in the bathroom. Sunday around noon was busy with only about a 15 minute wait. I always enjoy browsing while I wait. First of all, whoever was... making biscuits that day, don't let that person go! Those were the best biscuits I've ever had at a Cracker Barrel! I got 2eggs, bacon, grits, sausage gravy, biscuits & fried apples. ???????? Very filling! Been going here for over 20 years, and almost always get the catfish, but was very disappointed when they cut a fillet of... catfish in half, and serve it as 2 pieces. On top of it, it wasnt a one off situation, both of our orders were the same. Wont bescrewing myself over again like that, cause $16 for a piece of catfish and 3-3/4cup sides, is absurd. Either change your menu toreflect the changes, or serve what is listed. I can cut a fillet into 30 pieces, doesnt mean im serving 15 people withit(because our menu says 2 pieces)! Read more
