I was wondering why when I reserved parking in a small 30 truck parking lot that there was 13 people in line for 1 of the 6... showers. Which I thought 6 showers was quite a lot for a 30 truck parking lot. Then after getting here, waiting an hour in afuel lane for security to get a non paying trespasser to move, waking up the next morning, reserving a shower & still, 2 hrslater, only being the 10th in line. After the 1st hour I realized why. While potty walking my pup I noticed that there is aHUGE Lazy Dayz RV Campgrounds right by the truck stop. Which indicates that most of those vacationers are using the truck stopshowers instead of their own within their rigs. So, this means that this Flying J isn't so much a Truck Stop as it is aCampground Convenance Store/Shower/Fuel Facility. And they are obviously in no hurry to get in & out of the showers to keepfrom inconveniencing anyone, after all they're on vacation. Meanwhile the few 30 if us truck drivers still have a job to do &some of us like to start the day with a shower. Oh well, looks like it's going to be a wet wipe & restroom hobo sink bath day:( - Update: Had to call Guest Services & have the Shower Cancelled & the Credit put back on my card. Read more
The bathrooms and showers are closed, not available. No ice available, no real food available. Have to grubhub or walk to the... T/A Travel Plaza before 10 pm to get a hot meal... annnd Deli-case Pizza by the slice doesn't count. Read more
I have been going to this place for years. I still miss the restraint. (I'm still not over the loss) This place is bigger than... Yee Haw Junction Fl and I-75 -301 (Riverview FL) Smaller than TA across the street. Some of the spaces are tight for big rigs.Has a dump station and propane. Easy in and out for large RV. The staff is the best. Always friendly. Thanks for a great spot tostop. Lost a star because the place is showing some age. Main restroom needs an upgrade. I would visit again. Read more
Shower was clean and shower head had great pressure but the public restroom could be better. Hot water handle on faucet was not... working either in the mens restroom Read more
Small Flying J. Half of the 20 or so truck spots are pay to park only. $18/night but there isn?t a lot of parking for semi... trucks in the Tampa area. Typical Flying J as far as the store is concerned. Would have gotten more stars if the lot was biggerand had more parking. Read more
Wow Blown Away at this place! For the first time I've experienced taking a much needed shower. And for $12.00 it was well worth... it. They had Floor Towel, Bath Towel, Wash Cloth, Soap, plus they even gave you some extras like a Lollypop, Gun, and a BottleWater. The Shower was really Hot too. this place is always full doesn't matter what time it is it's always. Always packed I've done here at different times and it's... always the same it's like the guys that are parked there never leave also there's very little parking and it's a really smallFlying J which in fact they have a lot of space but they didn't actually worked it properly also you be very wear of the exitwhen you get out you got to go straight and take a left not a right remember this if not you are going to be very angry when youtake that right Read more
No parking spaces here because people park their trucks who live around the area treat parking spots as their garage and park... long term. Management needs to be notified Read more
