Quaint and curiosity satisfying. Love the unique cottage feel of the historic building. The staff was welcoming and... knowledgeable. Plentiful events scheduled in our future at this bookstore. No big box vibe just small town love with a vastglobal array of authors here. Read more

I have been in this bookstore several times and have had a great experience each and every time. This latest visit went above... and beyond expectations. My family and I came in for a late lunch and to look at the books. We unfortunately had a little bit ofa grumpy baby with us. The owner (I believe) offered to hold our daughter while we ate so we could enjoy the delicious fare. Sheshowed her flowers and the animals on the wallpaper while we ate their hummus plate. It is just such a cute little bookstore andsuch an original idea for this small town. We look forward to coming back again and again and having our daughter pick out booksas she grows older. I look forward to seeing new books come in (as you can tell how popular this shop is!) and buying manythings in the future. Also, they had a notebook made from floppy disks, one of the best knick-knacks I could ever hope to see! Read more

This is my new favorite place in Seguin! A beautifully restored property with a big front porch, shady side yard and great... outdoor space is the perfect compliment to the indoor space. Once inside, you find a fantastic cafe with wine and beer optionsand some fabulous desserts. (The Caprese sandwich on ciabatta with fresh fruit was delish!) But, let\'s talk the books. It\'sa perfectly curated selection of non-fiction, fiction, Texana, YA, and kids. Delicious-smelling candles and even some funstickers and other knick knacks grace the tasteful and clever decor. I am not sure what is better-- a great lunch and a diveinto books or my favorite beer on the patio and a book. I guess I will have to keep stopping by and testing out the entire menuand read my way through! Pop in-- you won\'t be disappointed! Read more
