The catfish and hush puppies I ordered were burnt and overcooked , fries tasted like fish guessing they were fried in the same... oil as the fish and the Mac and cheese was cold and tasted horrible , I would give this place 1 star but the staff was amazing ,I believe their combined with a closed restaurant Dixie grill but using their menu , their sweet tea was wonderful. I alwaysgive a place 2 chances so I’ll come and try it again considering they have good reviews on their fish previously I’mguessing they have a new cook. Read more
Wing are delicious. They were so good we went back twice in one week. Very friendly service and welcoming. Come by and enjoy... the wings.. The drinks are king size so you won't go thirsty. Read more
Horrible. Took 10 min to get a server. Beer tasted horrible but server was too busy to come check on us. Asked for a a manager... after standing up front for several minutes without being looked at. No beer salt. Wings came our dryer than the sahara (bothsauce and meat) and missing lemon pepper. Asked for extra sauce. Poured it all over wings before realizing it was ice cold sauceand chunky. Server was so sweet and looked overwhelmed meanwhile no manager is there to help the several things the server keptforgetting. This was recommended by a local, so we took a chance. The group of us got the country fried steak, an order of wings, and the... grilled cheese meatloaf sandwich. Sides were French fries, coleslaw, and the best fried okra I've ever tasted. Every order washot from the grill, huge, and very tasty, and the waitress was friendly and efficient. Order 10-pc wings half Buffalo and half dry rub BBQ. They had no flavor and were really chewy. I was expecting the buffalo wings... to be wet since buffalo is a wet sauce, but nope it seemed more like a dry rub. I was severely disappointed. I also orderedpotato wedges and they gave me like 5 wedges ????. I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone getting the wings here. Read more
Ordered lemon pepper wings for delivery and hush puppies, received chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, potatoes wedges, Mac... and cheese, and a brownie. None of which I could eat. Oh...and the biggest run around when requesting a refund! Will NOT beordering from Rocket Wings again! UPDATE: Door Dash issued credit to Rocket Wings.. Good prices, and good food. Fries were well seasoned, and were very good. I ordered the crispy buffalo chicken sandwich and... went with the "extra hot" option because usually restaurants let me down in that department. However, it had a good amount ofspice, I was very pleased. As far as portion size? The chicken could have been cut into 1/3 the size, and fit on the bun. Butno, because when you come in and order the lunch special, there is no way they are letting you return to work hungry. I couldhave easily made 2 sandwiches with what they supplied. Others at the table had the same portion sizes, so they are notstingy. This was my first experience with Rocket Wings, and I was very impressed. Good job. Read more
The food was ok, but some of our boneless wings didn't have sauce on them which I've never come across before. They were boring... and a little over cooked. The fries are great. Our server needs some retraining in all aspects of the position. We felt like wewere an intrusion on her day. Read more
