My guilty pleasure is eating an entire hot hero until my stomach hurts because it tastes so good. So of course I?ve tried a lot... of sandwich spots looking for the sandwich that?s going to make me dance in my seat. This review is for the cleanliness of theshop, the very nice staff, and for THE PICCOLO. I loved it, I took a picture of it before I even knew I would write a reviewbecause it made me so happy. Delicious! The owners are absolute sweethearts and have really made a beautiful space to dine in. The place is so pretty and... clean and their prices are excellent. The food was so fresh and cooked exactly the way I asked. I will definitely be going back.Support this small business. Read more
Really good food with LOTS of options. Sometimes the kitchen is backed up so food can take a little while but the food always... comes out good. Quite cafe attached to study with lots of seating options and electric plug ins. New favorite weekend spot tostudy. Read more
Came back to give the place another try since the sign said "new ownership". Surprise, surpise when you get you bill. No prices... were posted next to the items, and the prices in their outdated brochure shows lower prices are more more expensive. Up totwo dollars and item more. Talk about bait and switch. Incredibly expensive for a deli. Portions are deli size but the pricesare what you would pay at a diner or breakfast restaurant. I was shocked when they told me the price after they had already rungme up. The bacon in my sandwich tasted old. Not coming back. Read more
Great place new owners have recently taken over and have been going here for years even before it was called Joe's. Although... some choices have changed the food in most cases is still great. Bread could be better though... Read more
Campus Joe?s in Selden I?ve been coming to four years. Their lunches as sandwich making was golden. Over the years it has... changed hands. And the quality has not been the same. It has recently changed hands again. Breakfast sandwiches takes foreverand this is the second time I?ve asked for fried and got over easy. I had to go home and change and be late for work. We have been coming here weekly for lunch, and I have to say, we have never had a bad sandwich here. My husband gets the hero... and I get a roll, but both are overstuffed. Some of our favorites are the All American, Mona Lisa, Native New Yorker, Mad DogAmerican, Joe's Special Italian, Philly, Mad Mac and Undertaker. Currently waiting for my sandwhich on lunch break, watching the two counter ladies argue and fight with eachother about who gave... who the wrong sandwhich.. the lady Barbara is rude and has no customer service skills .
