First , it's not kid friendly. Only offer cheese quesadilla for kids. Then the root beer we got for our daughter tasted like it... was Poured in a glass that had had beer but wasn't washed. We started with pumpkin pretzels and they were good, but not warmenough. Once we got food our server never came to check on us. ( Does no one teach the 2bites -2 min RULE anymore??!)) I getthey are busy but we told her that this was our first time. His sandwich was the Orchid Bird which he ordered with NO APPLES butthey were in it. I got the blue ribbon expecting chicken,Ham & Swiss but NO HAM just tasteless chkn lunchmeat. Our food wasobviously sitting under the heat lamp for a bit cuz the cheese was noticeably hardening & food wasn't hot. Overall disappointedcuz it was our Date Night and I was so excited to try something new and different. Lastly, we had to hunt down the server forour Bill or we would've been waiting much longer. We ate outside. Cozy, warm atmosphere with incredible beer selection not just full of IPAs. The food was also exceptional as was... the service. Read more

Selin's Grove is a gem, which makes the fact that it's for sale scary. The food is at the opposite end of the spectrum from pub... food - try the curry chicken salad - and the beer is both excellent and pretty cheap. Great atmosphere, too. I wish I livedcloser. This would be a go-to for sure. Please, buyer, don't change one of the best brew pubs I'll ever find Read more

Enjoyed a couple of beers and got takeout. Belgian triple was smooth with good flavors, not too sweet. Fat cat double IPA was... also good, well balanced, not overly hoppy. Got a four pack of the triple and a pulled pork sandwich that came with a picklespear and a side of apple slaw. All in all, very tasty but the slaw portion wasn?t very generous. Staff was very friendly andaccommodating. Couldn?t get a seat inside but was given access to the bathroom. Read more

Always enjoyable. One of my regular stops when I come home to visit since leaving central PA. All the brews I've had are tasty... (and this comes from someone who moved to Holland where the beer options are never-ending)...one of my favorite pumpkin beers Iever had from them last time in the autumn. Tasty sandwiches and pretzels. This time I enjoyed the sweet and tasty SolsticeDubbel. We got a plate of nachos with avocado and Mexican chocolate cake which we're also delicious! Remains a favorite. Really cool place when you walk in. Sit near the bar area and it feels like a step back in time. Too dark to take a picture.... Foor is salad, sandwiches, soup. Really good beers. Taco salad was really good. Read more

Really great beer in a cool old house. Its definitely a good place to go get your growlers filled. I'd skip the curry chicken... salad, though - not much bang for your buck. Read more
