Dined-in with a friend. After ordering, my friend made an unfortunate joke about a large lady working behind the counter. I... looked over at her without thinking, and came eye to eye with her, and she looked very upset at me, she clearly heard it. Ilooked back at my friend, threw my hands in the air and said "great, now we're going to get spit in our food". When we receivedour order, the was small grey curly hair on the side on my burger (non-pubescent), hair on my cup, and hair on the tray. Now I'msure this is a great restaurant to go to under normal circumstances, but be aware you NEED to be polite to them. They are notafraid to break health codes to get revenge on you. The customer. First off, I am tired of hearing people complain about slow service. A and W has been lumped in with the other "fast food"... joints and it has never claimed to be such. I have been to this location so many times I can't count and I have never once beendisappointed. The service is genuine and kind and the food is always hot and delicious...but fast? I don't care if it's fast! Iwant to eat good food. If you want FAST FOOD then go to McDonalds. If you come here you will be treated kindly and eat somethingthat you don't regret later. Simply put, if you want GOOD food then come here but if you want FAST food then go there. Read more
We went thru the drive-thru the other day. There is no wait at the drive-thru to place our order. We ordered the new frozen... root beer slushie. Had a long wait at the window for the slushies....a good 10 minutes. They were not flavorful at all. Tastedlike it was watered down. And the cup was only three quarters full. Very disappointed. Tried out the mushroom mozzarella momma today. Well it seems like they wiped the knife off for sauce on my bun.. lol...what... sauce there was, wasnt good. ???? At first i thought i had no mushrooms but apparently they were under the mozza.. found them!There was maybe about 5 lil mushrooms, hardly any onions and they were very greasy. Not impressed. My father picked up 4 single (plain) burgers and 4 fries, and he said he paid over 40 bucks ?? The burger & fries looked like... what you'd get in a happy meal, fry packages weren't filled, looked like someone ate a third. Is this downsizing plus pricegouging? Must say A&W does taste good though. Read more
