Fast food is fast food... I prefer home cooked meals, but for fast food the New Crispy Chicken and Bacon Burger was awesome!!! I... don't really like McDonald's and can't remember when I went last but yeah if I had a choice it would be only for The New CrispyChicken and Bacon Burger!!! McDonalds on Main St in Selkirk is the worst of the worst for service. I know that all McDonalds are ridiculous and almost never... get the order right but Selkirk is by far the worst I have. Ever encountered. Always super slow. Sat at the drive through screenfor at least 2 minutes before I finally honked to get their attention. Another almost 5 minutes behind a truck waiting at thewindow who also had to honk to get their attention. Another almost 2 minutes at the window waiting until they asked me to gopark to wait for a hash brown but I refused. All the while 3 employees one looking like a manager standing inside window talkingand laughing and never acknowledged one customer. Other vehicles behind me you could hear some swears and a couple more honks.This is a common issue at this location. I?ve had my limit of it and will never return. My money will go to a competitor! Honestly depends on the day how good service is. And this isn't a dig at the workers because there is an obvious... management/leadership problem at this location. The kids working for minimum wage are trying their best with what seems like nosupport from their supervisors or managers. Wouldn't be surprised if half of them walked out on the job lol (don't blame them). Read more
The managers can't even do their job correctly or even know how to run this type of fast food business. With screwing up an... order of only 6 chicken nuggets not once not even twice but three times before getting them and still wanted to make thecustomer pay for it. Called before returning back to the restaurant and was giving a code to tell by the phone when arrivingthey argued about having the code. Typically McDonald's menu. Decided to go in and eat this time. The restaurant seemed a bit unkempt not sure if it was short... staffed. But the floor was sticky and had napkins on the floor. While I was waiting for my food, there was a lot of yellingcoming from the kitchen, not uncommon I suppose but I couldn't help but notice after a few seconds it wasn't areascommunicating. It was a manager type employee yelling at a station worker. The poor young lady was almost in tears, she wasbeing called stupid, slow, and was just belittled in front of the rest of the staff. Even customers could hear, and you couldsee the shock on their face. I wanted to take guy and smack them up side the head, and ask him how it felt to be bullied. Aftermy food was ready I mentioned to who I thought was a senior employee how I felt. They said it happens all the time! The experience was perfect. I went there with my children before dance class and they did everything right. The cashier came up... to my children with coloring books after we ordered and sat down. The manager came up to me and said he liked my shirt (it hadMario,Luigi,Yoshi, and bowser on it) and they had the look of loving their jobs and happy to be there. 10 stars for everything Read more
It's a typical McDonald's. The perk is there's still a PlayPlace which the kids enjoyed but the play area and tables could have... been cleaned at least. All tables were dirty and full of dried food spills. Service is good considering how busy they alwaysare. It's fast food so we can't be too picky. Read more
