Can't rate as it was closed for private function. Too bad as we were meeting half way between Winnipeg and Matlock.
From what seemed to start out as a well manicured course at the first tee box turned into a hard patchy experience soon after.... Layout for the holes was great but the annoyance of what seemed like elderly locals riding up to your tee box while trying todrive got old fast. Lack of marshalling the entire time let the group ahead of us take 2 1/2 hours to complete the front 9. Andif you hate when the clubhouse staff says "you can go anytime you're ready" when you have 30 mins to warm up then this place isfor you. Especially when a foursome then a pair tee off before you. Basically a lack of course etiquette ruined the day but atleast the bunkers had nice sand. Read more

This is a hidden gem if you are looking for a great place for breakfast,lunch or supper. Beautiful scenery,cabin like... ambience,great food and service. Easy parking,quiet area that has east access. I had the pickerel dinner which wasdelicious.Prices are are very reasonable.I have been to much higher priced restaurants that dont come close to the quality offood prepared here. We had a birthday party here and I couldnt have asked for a better location. Read more

Wouldn?t it be nice to be informed before your tee time that carts are unavailable and that almost every fairway has 3/4 inches... of water if not more. No cart girls for drinks, no food at the snack shack, what a joke. Read more
