Been past here while picking my daughter up, been wanting to try it, so we did. Not a huge fan, may give it the benefit of the... doubt and try again some day. We both ordered the pulled pork on a bun, she got fries, I got onion rings and spicy cheeseballs. The pulled pork was cold. The spicy cheese bites we not spicy at all. The onion rings were the best of my meal butnothing outstanding. The 3 sauces they have on the table were nothing to brag about. They spicy sauce was not much spicier thanketchup. The 3 sauces mixed together wasn't to bad. Waitress asked my daughter is she would like a refill and she asked forsweet tea and repeated it after the waitress asked if she wanted lemonade, and she said sweet tea the waitress returned withlemonade. For almost four years we used to literally come here once week till about the first of the year. Food has changed for the worse.... They lost a lot of good servers, decided to focus more on their bar area apparently. Kitchen takes forever to push out orders,and on several of our latest visits food was still cold. Just waited an hour for cold pulled chicken. Server was great andabsolutely working her tail off, but appeared to be the only one on a buisy Friday evening.Won't be back for awhile sadly. Read more
Great BBQ joint with fantastic service. Tasty pulled pork in a variety of dishes, plus chicken and more. Simple tables and... booths in plenty of space. It sounded like the regulars at the bar (semi-seperated by a half wall) were having a blast too. Read more
Had gone wanting seafood, but, the only available seafood was shrimp. (They used to have scallops, and also delicious salmon.) I... ordered the shrimp, and they were more like shrimp poppers, as they were tiny, overly fried and hard. I had asked for a bakedpotato as a side, but, 'again' the waitress said that they didn't have those, now, either. She explained that they were undernew management. (Apparently..) The previous menu, which had lots to order from, is now a raunchy looking paper menu, with littleon it to choose from. The waitress was pleasant and apologetic, however. I?m guessing new owners still trying to get it together. Definitely disappointed but will give them another try. Used to go... quite often but the last two times were not like it used to be. First time customers traveling through, waited an hour for four dinners while folks were served. We were told there?s limited... fryers. Fried bologna is super thick and salty enough to give your heart attack, no sauce, dry bun. Fries were burnt, BBQsandwiches were cold. When we explained this to our waitress who was diligently working to serve tons of tables she seemedoverwhelmed and brought a man over whom I assume is the manager? He proceeded to push back saying the chicken tenders were freshand so was the BBQ because he made it himself. He did admit to the fried bologna sandwich being poorly made. He proceeded todiscuss this loudly when I tried keeping it a reasonable volume so we didn?t disrupt other guests. My husband tried paying forthe food that was fine but the man talked over him saying he?d take care of it all and for us not to pay for anything. Obviouslywe upset him and he couldn?t maintain a professional attitude. It?s a shame because we really did enjoy the chicken tenders,cole slaw, and Mac n cheese. Cute name good menu. Drink refills could be quicker. We sat at bar and was our first time there. Devil eggs were good. We shared... sampler platter. They give you huge portions for price. Little on dry side but good. They also could set few other flavors outfor the bbq. Read more
To they defense they were short staffed while hosting catered event. Owner was engaged and help staff. We will return again with... better expectations!! Great amazing pork and chicken options for everyone. Read more
