My family ate dinner here tonight and we didn't arrive til 8:30 not realizing the restaurant closes at 9. The waitress was very... nice and didn't rush us at all. We were in and out in less than 40 minutes. The food was very fresh and tasty. Read more
My mother and I are originally from Louisville and moved to Arizona many years ago. We're back visiting family in Indiana and... my aunt and cousin told us about how good the food is. We tried the chicken fingers and they are to die for. This is good olsouthern country cooking that we don't get in the west unless we make it ourselves! Wonderful hospitality! 10/19/22 Typically a local go-to, this visit was a disappointment. One party commented that her chicken fingers were small with... too much breading. I personally had the country fried steak meal; the meat was chewy and the mashed potatoes were cold. Mypartner had to wait for one of her sides to arrive and it was not hot. The waitress was inconsistent in service. I will likelyreturn due to past positive experience but it will be a while before dining at Fireside once again. Read more
Honestly, the 5 stars don't say enough about how amazing this place is. Jess was our waitress and she was awesome! Super helpful... and friendly. The food quantity is really good. We had the chicken tenders and the 5 count is large enough to split and be full.The atmosphere felt a lot like a small-town home where everyone is family. This was my first time coming here based on arecommendation from a friend and it certainly won't be my last visit. We didn't have enough room for dessert, but I willdefinitely be back to find out just how amazing that is too! 10/10 recommend for a great overall visit. No complaintswhatsoever! Read more
Decided to drop in on our way home from Indiana, and was NOT disappointed! Don't know when we'll ever be back in the area, but... if we do, we'll definitely be stopping back in. Very nice bourbon selection, delicious homemade onion rings, the BESThand-breaded chicken, and top notch service by our bartender, Lauren! Stopped in for lunch and it was great. The beer I ordered was 1/2 price. Server was friendly and food came quickly. The breaded... pork tenderloin sandwich was excellent as were the homemade potato chips. Can't wait to come back! Read more
Everything here on the menu is a winner and the service can't be beat. Consistently excellent quality and presentation.
