So much hype about this place and it was just ok. I had the carnitas my wife had The enchiladas and my son ordered all the... flautas. The flautas were literally just giant taquitos?. The food was good but not great by any means. I?d eat here again butnow I know what to expect. Since I?ve moved from LA to Fresno I haven?t had any great Mexican food. I hadn't been to Sal's in over a couple of decades but took my family there for the first time a few weeks ago. It was my wife... our 9-year-old son and our 7 year old son and myself. We all ordered different menu items and every single one of us lovedeverything about our meals. The staff was very friendly and seated us very promptly even though they were packed. The atmospherewas really nice and down to earth and felt very homely because it was packed with other families dining there as well. Theservice that we received from the time we walked in the door up until the moment we were leaving was top-notch satisfactoryabove and beyond that even. We highly recommend this place if you are looking for some good authentic Mexican food, youabsolutely cannot go wrong with Sal's, and as I told the waitress when we were leaving. Shrimp taco & shrimp enchilada dinner is my go to favorite when coming here from Visalia. Worth the drive ???????? Chips & salsa... are great while waiting for my food. Staff is very friendly. Always a great experience. Read more

We were told about this resturant 2 weeks ago so we gathered the family and headed to selma from tulare.well let me tell you it... was well worth it. The food was amazing! So good! I had the Sal's Original Combination which included a taco, a chile relleno, and an enchilada,... with beans, rice, and chips and salsa of course. The service was decent. The only thing was that I asked for a cheese enchildaand I got served a ground beef enchilada. It was crazy busy so I did not say anything. It would have been a 5 star experience ifit wasn't for that. I would however recommend this restaurant any anytime. Read more
