Great sandwiches, sandwich meat by the pound and Great service. Conveniently next to Love's for us truckers.
Great food. The bread was so fresh. Lots of meat. Really enjoyed my sandwiches.
I finally got to stop. It's hard driving truck and being able to stop. I had a fancy ham on wheat. I can't wait to stop again.... Such a better sandwich than all the terrible fast food options that travelers are stuck with. Read more
What a great find! The three billboards on HWY 40 seemed a little excessive, but once you taste the tender blend of flavors in... their summer sausage or Jalapeno Sausage, you'll be glad you stopped! The kind and friendly young man behind the deli offered usa sample of both. With an assortment of jellies, beef jerky, salsa and sandwiches, or logs of sausage you can satisfy a snackattack, meal, or as a gift... This is truly the place to go?????????????? Read more
We've passed this place several times on road trips but didn't stop until a couple of weeks ago. What a hidden gem! They... don't have gluten-free bread, but they'll give you your ham, cheese, whatever you order in a baggie & you can add it to your ownbread (I sometimes travel with my own GF bread). I ordered a ham with pepperjack cheese sandwich (no bread). The ham isdelicious, and they're generous with it! The jalapeño mustard is really delicious. The ham or sausage biscuits come warm &wrapped in a paper towel. My teenage daughter loved it & said it was like getting a biscuit your mom made for you. Thegentleman behind the counter was so kind & polite! This location has a better selection of both sandwiches & condiments(jalapeño mustard!), as well as jarred products (pickles, jams, molasses, etc.), but I didn't see the pickles available withwhich to dress a sandwich...may have just overlooked them. The location on I-35 was a little bigger & had condiments on thetables & a sandwich dressing station--but it didn't have as many options available. I also appreciated that this restaurant isright off the interstate, so it's convenient for a quick bite to eat. This is not super close to home for us, but we willcertainly stop again when we're passing through on our next road trip in a few weeks! Read more
