This place started out great but has since fallen in quality of food and service. Just ate lunch there. Wife and I ordered a... steak. I had fries, and she got a baked potato. My steak was fine (medium well) but my fries were overcooked and too crispy anddark brown all over. Her steak was overcooked too (she has asked for medium and it came back medium well) and her potato wasmushy. She also complained her steak tasted "gamey." The waitress gave us our food, refreshed my drink, and never returned tocheck on us after that. We were the ONLY ONES being served food at the time (it was lunch), and we noticed one staff member onher phone the whole time, and we never saw our server. When she finally came back to the table (around the time we would havefinished eating), I informed her of the bad food quality, and she offered to "replace" it, but by that point, I had alreadyfinished and we had to leave anyway. My wife just got a to-go box. Nothing was offered in the way of compensation over thanreplacing the food, which was offered some 20 mins or so after we got it, and we would have had to wait again for them to fixtheir mistakes. Spent $60 for ill-prepared food and no service to speak of. Won't be going back to Copper River anytime soon. Read more

Excellent American food. This location offers a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches and other dishes including pasta. My family... and I dined on soup and sandwiches they were all delicious. The house club sandwich was extremely large and very filling. TheService in the bar area was fantastic. Excellent choice when you?re visiting the Clemson/Seneca South Carolina area. Read more

Great food(prime rib sandwich) great service and I was there right at closing time so I didn't have high expectations. Went back... the next day and got this huge ribeye perfectly cooked. One of the best steaks I've ever had, well over an inch thick. Read more

We went to Copper River Grill for the first time in a couple years. We have not came because our experience prior was less than... fair. We decided to give it a try, hopeful that the food and customer service has improved. Our waitress, Miss Rachel was soattentive and kind. She consistently checked on us even though she had other guests to tend to. We observed other guests verypleased with her friendliness and attentiveness as well. She was professional and responsive. We were well taken care of. Outfood came out hot. I had the prime rib which was perfectly cooked-compliments to the chef! We were very pleased with every bitof our experience and were thankful for such a nice dinner out. Read more

This gem is tucked away between Clemson and Walhalla. It's a charming place with beautiful wood cabin-type of interior design.... We were really disappointed in the restaurant choices in Clemson, so much fast food and bad Mexican restaurants, so we triedCopper River Grill for lunch. I got the caesar side salad and it was huge. It had delicious real hard parmeson and the dressingwas delicious. It was not super heavy. The hickory salmon on a plank was to die for! A tangy, delicious marinade and the salmonwas cooked perfectly. The cheesy mashed potatoes were disappointing. It was some sort of creamy cheese and it tasted likesomething you would get from a diner, not shredded cheddar like you get on a baked potato. My husband got the she-crab soup, which had a good flavor, but not much crab. That's to be expected though in SC when not on the coast. He liked it. His ribs weregood, he said. Tender and not overcooked. Our waitress, Chyann, was fantastic. Super friendly and kept checking on us, andbrought an iced tea refill for my husband when she noticed his getting low. We will definitely come back. The value for the foodwas also fantastic. Read more
