This is our second visit to Olympic. In our first visit, this restaurant (Alder Wood Bistro) was recommended by the locals but... it was fully booked when we called for reservation. This second visit, we didn't call (it was a Friday) and simply drove up.There was a sign that read It was fully booked... but we're fortunate they could accommodate 2 more person! We think the food isokay overall but the truffle fries is fantastic. Food portion is small. Place is small but cosy. Price is reasonable. Servicestaff is excellent. Read more
Amazing food and great service! HIGHLY recommend making a reservation and trying their amazing food. We had salmon, a caprese... salad, and carrot cake. Everything was high quality. Especially inspiring to see mostly women working at this restaurant anddoing such a stellar job! Read more
We rarely eat out, unless we think the food is unique enough to warrant dropping almost $100 for two. The Alder Wood Bistro... lived up to that standard and my wife enjoyed her birthday celebration here. We sat out back in their covered garden, which is ajoy to sit in and be surrounded by flowers, plants, and trees. It's an oasis. The service was prompt, the food wonderfullyprepared, the flavors unique. We had reservations, highly encourage it. They were busy on a Friday night on Labor Day weekend. Read more
This is a must-try restaurant if you stay in Sequim! The wait time was only 5 min for us and we got there around 5 pm. Alder Wood Bistro is wonderful! I read reviews when planning a trip and I?m so glad we made a reservation there! Everyone who... works there is so nice and the food is amazing! Great if you cannot have gluten. Their gf cauliflower crust 4 cheese pizza wasamazing! (Even my teen who can have gluten loved it!) And the fries- you have to get a side of fries. Excellent place, it was by far one of the best places we ate at near the national park. The food was delicious and the staff... were extremely kind and friendly! We really loved their fries, they were light but super crispy. Everything tasted very freshincluding the gnocchi and the clams. The seating is outdoors and the atmosphere is very relaxing and cozy. Great appetizer?s. Had a tomato blue cheese and corn salad app. It was top notch. Then we split a pizza that was outstanding.... Added a couple local cider?s to complement the food that were also fun. They have a great selection. Service was as great as thefood. Read more
This place was really incredible. We ordered two things off the specials menu, including the shishito peppers and a pork &... roasted grape pizza, both of which were fabulous. The shishito sauce was excellent and I could have eaten about three moreorders. The pizza had a lot going on, but was still tasty and not soggy under all the toppings.
