Family restaurant so don't expect vip services. Still you will get what paid for. Peaceful setting area and friendly staff. Only... problem is they they took longer and have to waste time for waiting and waiting. Otherwise, everything looks great. Read more

This place is WEIRD! No lights on, no AC, chairs flipped up on top of tables (530pm). I knew we should have left then but... unfortunately we didnt. It was not clean, we are a family of 3 and had one menu. The highchair had chunks of food hanging off ofit and I cleaned it with wipes I had in my purse right in front of the woman taking our order, she didnt say anything about it.Again. We should have left then but we didnt. We ordered and Oooo myyyyyy goooshhhh. It took FOREVER. We were the only people inthe whole place (red flag red flag red flag) and it took atleast 40 mins to get our 3 meals out and then our tacos had like 5pieces of meat each and overflowed with cilantro. I think the lady was running the joint by herself. She was nice as could bebut this is not how a restaurant should be run. As mentioned in other reviews, we have no idea about the prices and at thatpoint, we didnt care, we just wanted to GET OUT. Read more

The lady was about the most friendliest person I've met in a restaurant! I went in with my children and she was very patient and... very happy to wait on us. The food tasted homemade. It's a bonus for me if r go out to eat and it doesn't taste frozen oroverly processed. I got the feeling most of their business was from grubhub or a similar delivery service. Except for a fewpeople ordering to go, we were the only guests. They prefer you pay in cash, which is fine with me since credit card companiescharge the business for each transaction. My kids loved the food, though so I was pleased! They each ordered breakfast and Ihad the bean and cheese pupusas. We got a chicken soup to go. All DELICIOUS! Read more

Wonderful food, the tortas was absolutely amazing. As were the chicken tacos. The owners were very friendly and gave a wonderful... family vibe. Yes the lights are out and that can be a bit off putting but if you can get past that then you’re in for somewonderful food. Read more

The food is always excellent and the service is impeccable. The owner puts so much love into the food she makes and it’s... always a pleasure stopping by. My favorites are the bistec encebollado, huevos rancheros, desayuno salvadoreño and cafe conleche. I don’t know if they’re making horchata anymore but the owner was so sweet back in 2020 and allowed me to purchaseseveral liters for my daughter’s birthday party ???? Read more

These are the best pupusas I have ever eaten in my life. They were cooked from scratch and served so fresh and perfect. I... thought I would never find good pupusas again after I left DC but this place is the one. Best in Maryland! Read more

Yeah....this place was rough. My buddy and I went here around 8PM on a Monday night after a long bike ride back from Annapolis.... We saw that it had around 4 stars so without looking twice we have it a chance. When we got there, it looked closed. All theinterior lights were off and there was just a young toddler sitting at a table doing homework on her laptop (no mask). We stoodaround for a while and a woman came running up the counter. She was very pleasant (too pleasant?) and took our order. She didn'twear a mask either, and no gloves. She bumped up the price for the burrito by a whopping $4 because of covid, even though themenu showed the original price. Whatever, we paid and waited for food. She brought out chips and hot sauce (instead ofsalsa....) and again, wasn't wearing a mask or gloves. Our food came out-- I had the grilled chicken with rice, beans, a sadsalad, and 3 tortillas on the side (for what?). My buddy got a burrito. Both entrees were absolutely lifeless, void of allflavor. The cheese on the burrito wasn't melted, it looked like 75% rice, and the chicken tasted like it hadn't been seasoned atall. We bought left our food half uneaten. Maybe this place was half decent but it seems like they've cut back far too muchbecause of COVID. The lackluster food quality, paired with the shady practices and lack of safety unfortunately means we won'tbe coming back. Read more
