What a great restaurant!! Luckily we put our name in online. It was about an hour wait on the night we visited. The decor and... setup is very nice. open but cozy too Our waiter was friendly and attentive Each meal comes with homemade biscuits, cornbreadand potato soup. The potato soup is delicious. Worth the visit alone I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and my wife hadthe chicken pot pie. Both were absolutely delicious. I'd give more stars if I could. Highly recommend Read more

????Ultra-Friendly Service, Delicious Dinner, & Good-Old-Fashioned Southern Hospitality???? When I ate dinner at Five Oaks Farm... Kitchen, I was served by one of the friendliest, most personable waitresses I've ever been assigned at a restaurant *period*.Food items arrived promptly, warmly, and freshly throughout the dining experience, with close attentiveness paid to my party'spleasure. I enjoyed a lovely window view on the ground floor during a rare snow day. Watching the cold flurries out the windowwhile savoring warm soup and mac-and-cheese made the food taste even better! I elected to dine on the Fried Catfish (deep friedin cornmeal with lemon), while another in my party chose the Southern Fried Steak. Both meals left us feeling full and withsated taste buds. Pro tip: Don't neglect to order a cinnamon roll at the end of the meal--it's the perfect sharing size andpractically swimming in warm glaze. Read more

We went here for early morning breakfast.Good service and good food. It’s tucked away with a great water view. Just like... it’s name it had farm fresh food. Menu : Five Oaks offers three main menus – breakfast, lunch and supper. A dessert menuand a gluten-free menu are also available upon request. Food : 1. Five oaks omelette with the side of wheat toast and freshfruit bowl 2. Grilled cheese- this is not on the menu but they made it upon our request and it was really good. 3. Farm freshFrench toast 4. Belgian waffle with hot chocolate gravy and fresh strawberries 5. Blanches thick “ring baked” griddle cake-this is a must must must try dish at this place 6. Handmade cinnamon roll- if you like cinnamon definitely try this one 7.Ribbon cut fresh potatoes Service : Top notch service. The staff was really helpful, warm, welcoming and made sure we get outorder right. Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly. Highly recommended. Read more

This place is phenomenal! Some of the best southern food I have experienced on the east coast. The cinnamon roll is a must have.... It is enough to feed at least 3 people. It has a cream based topping that isn't overpowering like the sugar based topping youget at the grocery store. The scramble features grits, tomatoes, and was overall absolutely divine. The griddle cakes are huge &could be eaten for days with how much is served. Amazing place, nice family environment, and very welcoming. Highly recommended! Read more

Oh my God! We came here early morning before exploring the area. This place was a great experience. The food is so good and... surprisingly priced. This gives you the feeling of a huge family breakfast out on the farm and there were no disappointments. Bewarned, the fried cinnamon roll is massive but so delicious. Cinnamon roll dipped in waffle batter and fried to fluffygoodness! Read more

Beautiful restaurant with very friendly staff and delicious food! We came for dinner and we’re pleasantly surprised to learn... that it comes with a complimentary cup of very tasty potato soup. My girlfriend ordered the meatloaf and a side of theirchicken and dumplings. I tasted both and they were both delicious. The meatloaf had a slight sweet and tangy barbecue flavor andwas very moist. I ordered the chicken fried steak with a side of their tomato casserole. Tyler, our server, explained that theyuse a Ritz cracker based crumbled topping with some coleslaw sauce and other ingredients that they scoop and bake on top of thetomato halves. The best way I can describe it is a combination of stuffing with the consistency of a hush puppy. The two piecesof steak were very juicy on the inside but with a very crunchy chicken fried coating on the outside. It also came with two bigscoops of mashed potatoes and brown gravy. Read more

Great experience! My wife, son, and I walked in right at peak of the lunch rush. Small wait, but the hostess assured us that the... time would decrease swiftly and it did. We got our seat, I ordered the lunch meatloaf, my wife ordered the chicken & dumplingswith fried okra, my son got the kids chicken tenders. Aside from the friendly staff, the prompt everything, and thecleanliness.. the food was GREAT!! Meatloaf with a tangy tomato based sauce with possibly the greatest biscuit I’ve evereaten. My wife’s okra tasted great (better than her grandmothers). Everything was hot, great portions, and better thanexpected!! Keep in mind, this is a heavy tourist area so consistency could be an issue! A second trip will determine that! Butmanagers walking the floor constantly. Very nice experience! Read more
