This place is good but man do they struggle to get orders correct. I spent over $70 for takeout last week and they got two... orders wrong. Called them up and they were hesitant about what was wrong. Then asked us to bring back the messed up orders andthey’d give us the corrected items. Seemed like a big inconvenience when we were all sitting down to eat and had to go backand get the right food. Yet they wanted us to bring the wrong orders back. I don’t like a handout but good customer servicegoes a long way. This is unfortunately not the first time we’ve been burned. This used to be the best Chinese restaurant!! Well, no longer! Prices are hiked up substantially, portions are 1/2 the size. The... food was terrible! Sauce in my chicken meal was like water, no flavor, there was very little chicken. Spring roll had onlycabbage in it and very greasy! The best part of the meal was the 2 free tea bags! I almost DIED from eating here! I’m allergic to peanut butter but Chef Chub’s cooks their sesame chicken in peanut butter.... They don’t have it listed that they use it to make their sauce and who would think sesame chicken would be cooked in peanutbutter. I called the restaurant to ask them what was in it because I’m not allergic to sesame and they told me that it’stheir special sauce for the chicken and told me to order something else in a rude manner and hung up. Be aware if you have anyfood allergy that this place doesn’t know how to cook sesame chicken and doesn’t give you any warning that they cook theirfood with straight peanut butter even though there’s tons of people who could stop breathing from just being close to theirchicken. Amazing place. Food is great, best Chinese food in the area. Portions are generous and prices are inexpensive or on par with... other similar restaurants. What impresses me most is that it's not the "same food different store" -- this restaurant offers ahigh quality meal. Read more
I’ve been coming here ever since I discovered them, it’s not your typical Chinese food restaurant I mean they really put... quality into their chicken and the fried rice is on point. I’d have to say they are the best Chinese food I’ve had so far, Ireally can’t compare them to anybody else they’ve just been so on point everything is crispy and when they say 15 minutesit’s really done. They have something magical here and really should get the most credit because most Chinese food places areall the same, they are a little pricey but you really get what you pay for here and the customer service is good as well. 2years and they still worked through the pandemic and are thriving I hope they never go out of business because they are awesomeand the food is just phenomenal for Asian American food, thank you chef chun ???????? Ordered thru doordash. Order was taken but canceled 1 hr later , just as we were waiting to receive it. Reason restaurant too... busy. Ok we understand that . They should have canceled immediately. Now we have 3 hungry kids here and its already late. Wehave been returning customers for a long time. Very disappointing. Read more
Been getting Chef Chun’s for 20+ years and have enjoyed their food and their service but I am really disappointed with their... takeout portions. Their resealable plastic containers are pathetically small for what they charge for their combinationplatters. I was still hungry after finishing the Hunan Chicken. Never had to say that before. For the money they charge theyshould do better for their loyal customers. Read more
