While looking for adventure in non-traditional American fare, my wife and I discovered Thai Terrace. Expecting modest decor, we... found eye pleasing surroundings and comfortable seating. Ample menu selections were highlighted by spice levels made to orderand tasty portions that won't dissappoint. Our choices were chicken and seafood dishes. Upscale Thai at a reasonable price. The 3 course lunch menu is as good as it gets. Spring Rolls are excellent, order some... extras. If you like Thai cuisine and you haven't dined at Thai Terrace you are missing out! It's tucked away in a small shopping plaza,... but don't let the location deter you! I will gladly admit that I am a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to Thai food. I almost always order Pad Thai. That might... seem boring, but I like the dish and it's a good way to compare restaurants. Thai Terrace is one of the best I've had. The onlycomplaint I have is that sometimes the spiciness is a little inconsistent. However, I'm willing to chalk that up to varyingdepending upon who's cooking on a given day. They have four levels of spiciness. I usually go with #2, medium. It's usuallywithin my range of spice tolerance. We also order typically a lot of appetizers. They have some really good ones. The porkdumplings are delicious. The chicken satay is incredibly tender. They also have one called Thai Shrimp Green Wrap that's reallyunique and tasty. It consists of shrimp, peanuts, coconut, sweet chili sauce, lime, scallions, ginger and red onions in alettuce wrap. It seems like a lot of ingredients but they all combine incredibly well. We occasionally try new local Thairestaurants as we discover them, but we always seem to wind up back at Thai Terrace. The atmosphere in the restaurant is quietand peaceful; the owners and their staff are really friendly and the food never disappoints. Read more

This is the best restaurant in Washington Township!! I have ordered take out so many times over the years, and eaten in,... bringing my own beer. I love the owner! She makes the Som Tom (papaya) salad herself medium spicy, always authetic and sodelicious. I get high off of the spiciness. :) Also I love the Khao Kriab Pak Mo traditional pork dumplings, the Tom Khacoconut soup with tofu and veggies, the Shrimp Summer Rolls. OMG I forgot the Chicken Satay skewers, they are bangin!!! ThatSatay peanut sauce is so delicious, its an amazing appetizer and a MUST. For bigger items I love the Goong Ob Woon Sen, GreenCurry Coconut Noodle Soup with Shrimp, and the Green Curry Fried Rice with Chicken. The green curry fried rice has the bestflavor unmatched by anything! Thai iced teas and Thai iced coffees have a unique delicious flavor that you can't find anywhereother than a thai restaurant.
