The food was good but I don?t think I?ve ever had such bad service anywhere in my whole life. The waitresses were beyond rude to... us and purposely ignored us, and helped all the other customers but us. We had to wait 20 mins just to get a box for our food togo?Even while we payed our ticket at the end, she tried helping people behind us as we were trying to pay. Bomb food great service and countless drinks
The only reason I am giving a 2 star is because the place is clean and looks nice. The food was hardly edible. The waitresses... were standing around and acted like they hated their jobs. I had to get up to ask for a refill for my tea. My food was bland andmy husband's chorizo was so salty he couldn't eat it. Then once we were done they walked by several times but never asked if weneeded the check so we had to go to the counter again and ask for it. The waitress was honest though because my husband droppedmoney out of his pocket and she brought it to us. So I tipped good eventhough the service and good sucked. Read more

Nice Mexican place at Shafter. Not too pricey, I ordered "Grilled chicken quesadilla"; it came with a small side of "Pico de... gallo", guacamole and sour cream. It was very good, chicken perfectly grilled, not overcooked, juicy and well seasoned. I washedot down with ive unsweetened tea, very good, I must say. (Refilled included), ended paying $20 tip included. Place is clean andwith a very good A/C system. Servers were nice and very efficient, the one that waitered our table spoke english as well asspanish. Clean restrooms. Ample parking. The food has changed, it's taste different like mass produce lots of salt. Just recently redecorated and rearranged. We were put... behind the new glass and we waited for the service quite a long time also she came twice once for the delivery of food andsecond to bring drinks. We had ask for the check. I came in early for breakfast. Restaurant was very clean. My waitress Rosie greeted and sat me at a booth. I ordered chorizo con... huevos, it comes with rice, beans and choice of tortillas. It was very good, couldn?t eat it all. I made a small burrito out ofthe leftovers to take home. Don Pepe?s can be recommended as a great place to get breakfast, they open at 7:00am.
