Went to this amazing eatery for lunch and it did not disappoint. Me, my daughter and son n law ordered both the chicken breast... and thigh yakitori along with the Hiroshima pancake. We were so happy to have made the right choices. Definitely will go backagain. Thanks for the awesome experience. Read more

Folks there are nice, which is cool, but food is horribly inconsistent and just ok at best. Got avocado sushi twice, one time it... was rolled, one time it was avocado on top of rice. Both times avocado was fairly brown, one of the pieces of avocado was sobrown it was inedible. They shut their frier down early but didn?t tell us until we were there to pick up the order so couldn?tadjust what we had asked for (they said they credited us but haven?t seen it come through yet). Can never get through on phones. Will definitely not be going back. Read more

First off, I am glad this shop is in the neighborhood, comforted knowing there's a decent sushi place nearby. It is located in... the back of the van Aken Marketplace, toward the indoor parking garage. There are a few tables in the shop, but the Marketplaceoffers plenty of options to sit and watch people. You'll get a buzzer that alerts when the food is ready to be picked up. Craft Collective is close by, and I like to grab a beer while waiting for the food to be prepared. (Ah, the sweet life for asuburban dad.). As expected, the pace at the shop varies, and that can influence prep time. The quality of the food isexcellent. I notice that immediately when biting into the rice - just the right taste and importantly tactile feel, the rightgive. That holds for both the rolls and yakitori dishes. We've got vegetarians in the group and the tofu yakitori dish is abig surprise. Admittedly, I don't eat much tofu, but this is the best I've tasted, just the right mix of flavors. We'vesettled into our faves off of the menu: spicy tuna, California and Philly rolls, plus the tofu dish. Everyone is happy at theend of a hot (for Shaker) workday. I recommend Domo Yakitori and Sushi to friends and family. Read more

Really bad experience of yakitori. They set my food aside and didn?t call me to pick up until 30min later I asked them where is... my food. I was sitting in front of them all the time. After I asked, they give me the box which I saw it sitting on bench theentire time. Yakitori was already cold like a hard stone. Read more

September 2021: I ordered the a hybrid sushi roll with shrimp tempura and eel. Pros: * Their menu at this location seemed... limited in terms of tempura items. The chef offered to make a special Dragon roll for me. * Sushi roll was good. * Spaciouseating area. * Friendly staff. Cons: * Not enough eel sauce on the roll. Read more

As a vegetarian, you don?t often find a sushi place that has more than one option. One sad, boring option. Not so at Domo! Not... only did they have a variety of options, they all sounded equally tasty. I went with the mushroom and it was delicious! Sonicely balanced with the slight sweetness of the mushrooms and sautéed onions and the bite of the pickled veggies. I?lldefinitely be back to try the others! Read more

I?ve had better grocery store sushi. Overpriced with terrible customer service with a 30 min wait for a cucumber avacado roll.... Ordered the rice bowl too. Beyond unappetizing Read more
