Typically we order from the market grille and it's been a good experience. I've eaten at the Whalburger's in the Lakeville HyVee... and had great food and service. Tonight we went into Whalburger's in the Shakopee location and sat for 15 minutes before askingif they had wait staff. We were told that they weren't full service and had to order from the bartender. We asked the bartenderfor menus. We say for another 20 minutes while she helped other couples that came in shortly after we got our menus. We left andwill not be coming back. Terrible service. Breakfast Waiter was fine but it took too long to get the order. Only 2 tables with peeps in the join and it took a long time.... Kids were not happy. They have a video feed from the kitchen and they had no one cooking. If you can't find someone to cook timethe shut-r-down. Read more
This was our first time there with family, my food (8oz sirloin steak with asparagus and broccoli) was perfect, the steak was... perfect, didn't know it came with salt on the asparagus but was still perfect for me. Others in our group had some issues withtheir food, but the staff and the manager were quick to correct the problem, plus some extras. Truly went above and beyondexpectations for the trouble's we had. For me, totally worth the money! Would recommend! Koodos! I like the ambiance and the staff were excellent. I've eaten here on many different occasions because all the great deals for... great food. This day was half off sushi, so I get 2 rolls, 2 that I've had many times before. I did not receive those rolls andinstead received 2 cold shrimp tempura rolls with sauce over it. The shrimp is usually freshly cooked and has a crisp to them,being they were just fried. These did not. Also, I took advantage of the $12 all you can eat wings deal. The wings were slightlyundercooked and left blood in the tray it was in. It could have been a hard day on the cook, it is Easter Sunday, but bloodywings are unacceptable. But I would still recommend this place for bite to eat with the family. I think this restaurant hasit's good side as well. Just don't go on busier days. Try it once and see for yourself. All you can eat crab legs for only $29.99! I'm not sure how many clusters I put away but I ate so much that I got crab drunk!... Plus 30 craft beers to choose from. Was well worth the 25 mile drive thru a mini blizzard. Can't wait until the next I can eatmy own body weight in crab legs! Read more

Can y?all just close at 9pm instead of rushing people out the door for an hour? Somehow this place went from top-tier to just... an expensive, run of the mill, local chain. The workers used to be happy, knowledgeable, and there used to actually be teammembers around to help. The remodel is mind-boggling and really destroyed the HyVee feel I?ve grown to love. The new islelocations make zero sense. Now it?s just confused people walking around and if you can even track down an employee, they don?tknow where anything is either! Put bag dispensers throughout the produce section. (Why do the onions and potatoes not havebags?!?) Now I?m just going to go down the road where it sucks just as much but at least it?s cheaper.
