The crust was like rubber. Could not chew. Just ate thr topping. Very disappointed and will not buy again.

I love Papa Johns Pizza (Hawaiian is my favorite but I like supreme too). Even though I am Vegan. Not due to allergies, but... because I am working towards healthier choices. So what I do is. I give myself food allowances. Specially when I am working onprojects. If I have to work on my cars (brakes, oil, etc), and I think it may take a long time (the repair or maintenance) I buya big Papa John's pizza. Because it is pretty handy. I like them hot and cold. So I grab slices as the work day progresses. Thatway, I eat enough but not too much. I haven't had any problems with this particular place in Shallotte. I recommend it. Read more

Its not that the food here is bad exactly but it isn't that great either. Every meal we've ordered from here is mediocre at... best. The quality of the food is on the same level as little Caesars but considerably more expensive. Just save the extra cashyou would have spent at Pappa John's and head to dominos or little Caesars. Papa John's is my favorite take out pizza. It didn't disappoint. What was disappointing was the wait time for my pizza and I... picked it up - No delivery! Lots of people were also waiting! Not sure why the wait was so long. Next time, I will plan not tobe on time!!! Read more

Pizza is okay. I've tried to order multiple times for delivery over the last 5 months. Every time I place an order I have to... call and cancel because the delivery time estimate is 2 hours. I mean it's fine to go pick up, but I won't wait 2 hours fordelivery, that's insane. Apparently they can't correct this issue. Read more

Poor customer service. Manager out right lied about us receiving our order when he responded to the email I sent to corporate, I... only found that out by calling in a second time when I never heard back?.Rep on phone read me his comment back. We absolutelynever received our order, he told corporate we left with our order and that was a lie, I?m certain cameras would have shownthat, had anyone cared enough to look. Never received a call back from their corporate office either. Will not patronage PapaJohns again as it?s not the first time I?ve had issues with this location just had never reported it, thinking it was just anoff day for them.
