Talk about a hidden gem! This place is a must find while you're in the Coal Region. The menu has something for almost anyone,... excellent selection, great pricing to portion, and excellent service. Decor is a very fun and playful mix of old charm of thebuilding, Diner vibe and Mom's table, to shabby chíc. The owner has an apparent love of the glamor of old Hollywood and historyof the area. My partner and I had a wonderful lunch date here yesterday! (Nov 9th 2022) The food was very good, the environment was eclectic... and interesting and very comfortable, and they play Sinatra and that type of music. We hit it just at the exact right time. Theyhad just opened and no one was there yet so we got all of Mike's attention for our entire meal! Very conveniently the lunchcrowd started filing in just as we were paying the check so we got a very peaceful and pleasant lunch date! The service here isawesome. Mike is a great guy. I have to admit it's a bit strange seeing such a lovely little cafe in downtown Shamokin, but italso gives me great hope and I would love to see more businesses just like this one come into Shamokin and make it a beautifultown again. Maybe The Sweet Tooth and other great places we have in our quiet little town can help attract more businesses here.Thank you, Mike & family, for such a wonderful effort from you! You are showing the rest of the world what Shamokin used tobe... and can definitely be again! The Sweet Tooth is among some other really great places that have opened in the past fewyears that make a trip to downtown Shamokin definitely worth the effort. We found this restaurant on Google maps while we were in the area. Once inside the building, we were truly blown away but the... beautiful and eclectic atmosphere. It's obvious that everything was hand selected and painstakingly restored to polishedperfection! The food did not disappoint either! Surprising number of menu choices. Everything we ordered was mouth wateringlydelicious! The waitress was delightful as well! She was friendly and welcoming. She knew everything on the menu by heart. My husband and I are always looking for new places to eat that aren?t chain restaurants. We hit the jackpot today! Our service... was wonderful even with them being short staffed! I am a chef and I can tell you that everything that was served to us wasphenomenal! I can?t remember the last time I was able to say that. This place is amazing! Eat here all the time and was never let down! The breakfast bowl is amazing! There other dishes are... excellent as well but, I keep coming back for the breakfast bowl. The dining room is always clean. Staff is friendly and theprices are very reasonable. UPDATE: Just finished dining a bit ago. Thursday is steak hoagie nite. All kinds of traditional andnon-traditional hoagies. The two pics are of the "Elvis" and "I love Lucy". Another Update: Try the turtle pancakes. They are anew item and fantastic!
