This is the only DD in the area. The 61 and 54 intersection was supposed to be a DD, but it got Vetoed for potentially taking... business away from this location. The worst built DD ever, lines pour into traffic, it congests most of Shamokins thru traffic,makes navigating town impossible as commuters get stuck at the light and locals tear through back roads to avoid the delay. Ifthe DD in Mount Carmel would have been built then the Shamokin Drive through would actually be tolerable. Now Mt Carmel hasanother Dollar General because we were denied our Dunkin. It's criminal Tear down this building If you want Coffee go to yourlocal shops, always consider when you spend money, "who am I making richer?" Im not the kind of person to give bad reviews but this experience was so unpleasant i felt i had to. Went through the drive... through with a friend. They ordered their drink and were told that it was no longer carried by dunkin even though it was.Ordered something else no problem and then i clearly told the man that on a SEPARATE ORDER i wanted a drink and a bagel. He saidokay and took my order, but then left a long silence and did not confirm. After the pause he said "Thats all, the drink?".Frustrated, I said sure and pulled up. Friend paid for their drink and when I tried to pay for my order they said "What otherorder?" Didnt try to fix the problem at all so we said we'll come inside. He didnt tell us that the dining room was closed.Drive thru line was to the street so we left without my food. The guy had a nasty attitude, customer service was horrible.Honestly Im surprised this dude still has a job with the way he talks to customers. Read more
I love their donitz nothing like turkey hills donitz, I'd rather the donitz at Dunkin donitz and spend most of my days their... talking legal thinks with my attorney whilst maybe getting a Powerade if I become dehydrated and some chicken dip and friendswalking in and out all the time getting the cold coffee or iced coffee I guess they call it. I only ever get a small iced coffee daily and my cup is always a quarter empty, so you can imagine how much coffee I?m actually... getting. I don?t understand how I?m paying for a full cup, but they never give me a full cup, especially when Im only getting asmall. Then I always pay for extra pumps of caramel, which you would think would raise the amount inside my cup, but nope itsstill always a quarter empty. Then they love giving you half pumps of caramel, instead of the full pumps that your paying extrafor, so then you have to constantly get extra pumps because you were never given the full pumps to begin with. Fresh food, fairly quick service considering the always-lengthy drive-thru line...just say a prayer that you don't get t-boned... waiting to order your caramel frappe in the middle of Market Street ???????. Read more
This is the ONLY DD in Shamokin so it?s not too bad. Location is consistently busy but flows nicely. It?s at a corner light so... it?s easy to get to but difficult to get out at times because it is very, very tight due to space and traffic flow. FYI duringpeak hours, the drive through lane is ridiculously crazy because drivers will wait for the drive thru lame and block Market Sttraffic and cause a lot of mess. For some reason this hasn?t been addressed by city ordinances. So I order online and pick it upinside the store. Service has always been very friendly and they do try to speed things up. Parking is VERY small and tight. Thedining area is always clean and the self service station is always well stocked with napkins, and straws. Their inventory forretail has plenty to choose from. Overall it?s a nice business but they do need to find a larger location to accommodate thedemands. Read more
Just got a small cold brew and it tastes old, like it sat in the fridge for 2 days. Last few times I went and got iced coffee or... cold brew it wasn't how it used to be. I always order the same flavors and I've just been disappointed lately. I'd rather go toMcDonald's for the iced coffee honestly. Read more
My family & I are staying at a AirBB in Shamokin so we?re close to Knoebels Amusement Park. Went to this DD?s because we heard... so much about it. It did not disappoint!!
