Sharon location. Hugely disappointed. Ordered the lamb cumin, dried beef and dumplings. I have been here six or seven times in... years past. I ordered schuian hot. This is the highest heat level. But what I received were entrées with absolutely no spiceat all. Unfortunately, it was takeout and I couldn’t return it. I was staying an hour away. Two stars because the meat wasdecent but i can cook it myself the way they made it. I wanted authentic, spicy schuian. When I say authentic hot, I don’tmean no heat! Read more

Got takeout. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered lo main, fried rice, scallion pancakes, kung pao beef, and cashew... chicken. The Kung pao was especially good. Order was only a few minutes late despite them being really busy that night. Read more

This is the only place I've been able to find where you can get authentic(!) Sichuan cuisine in the area. I will travel 30-45... minutes passing many other "Chinese" restaurants on the way to pick up an order from here, I only wish they were closer! DanDan Noodles, Chengdu Spicy Dumplings, Double-cooked Bacon and Dried Chicken are some top picks. There is American-Chinese fare(like General Tso's) on offer as well, but the spicy (mala) dishes are where its at. Read more

Great spring rolls. Chicken with mixed vegetables lacked flavor and over cooked. Mushy vegetables. When we exited our car to... enter the restaurant there was old vomit in our path. The bench seat we were given was torn and no one was seated elsewhere. Lunch specials only weekdays. Read more

LET THE BUYER BEWARE--STAY AWAY! Sichuan Gourmet Sharons owner is a nasty old man with a fake smile, a fat wallet, and blah... food He serves food on a level of an airport Chinese Panda takeout, while extorting customers for cash by raising pricesthrough the roof making rediculous claims that its due to inflation. Yah right 40-70% higher then a couple of years ago? He isa classic case of a fat and happy Chinese business owner who think Americans in a sleeply suburban town like Sharon are just todumb know what good Chinese food is supposed to take like He asked me how I was enjoying my Kung Pao chicken THEN WALKED AWAYwithout he slightest bit of interest in what I had to say. When I called out to him saying the the chicken was too sugary and peanuts in the Kung Pao Chicken were so raw and so hard that could can break someones teeth his answer was "I dont have thetime to talk to you." The cabbage in the deep fried spring role was raw, and as tough as shoelaces too chew, without any tasteat all. . Let the buyer beware. STAY AWAY Read more

After many years of searching for decent Chinese food across many towns in the South Shore, I've finally stumbled into what I... believe to be one of, if not the best Chinese restaurant in the area. They have a full-service bar, an extension menu of dailyspecials and, best of all, their food isn't super greasy or Americanized. Sure, you'll still find some options like GeneralTso's and the likes, but for the most part, the menu leans more towards the Southwestern region of Sichuan and its numerousspicy dishes. Their Dan Dan noodles for example are a great showcase of that very region and make for a tasty way to start yourmeal. Definitely do not be afraid to ask for recommendations as well, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The restaurantitself has no patio or outdoor seating but a decently sized dining room. There's plenty of parking and they do a ton of takeoutbusiness as well. All in all, this place is our go-to for the area and we look forward to many more meals there in the future. Read more

This restaurant is part of three family owned restaurants. One is on New Hampshire, I think, Manchester or Nashua, sorry! The... other one is in Hollis. Anyway, they have their best chef from New Hampshire, cooking for awhile, while they train a new one forSharon. He cooked is some real, China, Chinese food is and Hong Kong style food. I lived in China for 10 years, and travelled tomany different provinces, eating the favorite foods of those areas. I didn't take any pictures, I always forget. I'm always sohungry and in a rush to eat! So, we had, the Chinese meatballs with rice, though, there wasn't rice in the dish. There weremushrooms and veggies. Rice was on the side. It was really delicious!!! Then we had, chicken and vegetables. Also reallygood! The chicken dish may sound bland or common, but when you have it cooked properly, without MSG, and too many ingredients,it's delicious!!! The, steak teriyaki was also really good. The meat wasn't overly tenderized. You could chew the meat, withoutit bouncing around in your mouth! The tofu vegetable soup was salty to me, but that's how many Chinese restaurant make it.Unless, you really specify less salt. However, I haven't visited this place for many years. I'd highly recommend!!! Read more
