BUYER BEWARE. This location is in desperate need for improvement. Employees lack any professionalism & customer care/service.... The management is nonexistent. The "supposed" Shift Manager likes to talk amongst the other employees to disparage the customerright in front of the customer. I can understand having an "off day", or not really enjoying monotonous work in the fast foodindustry. I've been there, done that. However I appreciated the life experiences & the work ethic it offered me. I understandwhat it's like being on the other side of the counter and would never give anyone employees, or otherwise, a hard time. I'vealways treated others how I would want to be treated. First, I call Papa Murphy's in Shawnee Kansas about 4:30pm and I order 2pizzas. The male employee who answered the phone takes my order, and tells me that the pizzas will be ready in about 20 minutes.Okay. Driving from Desoto to Shawnee takes about 20 to 25 minutes. I leave my place in Desoto about 5 minutes later. I get thePapa Murphy's. I walk in, they the ask usual question, if I ordered online of called in? I let them know that I was a call in &gave them my name. No sooner when I gave them my name, that things turned. They tell me that my order wasn't ready yet & they'restill working on it. Their attitude then changed from pleasant & welcoming to snide & derisive. As if my coming in to pick upthe pizza I ordered was interfering with their "work" or their "plans". I courteously respond: "Ok take your time, I can wait."I then proceeded to the checkout counter, pay for the order. I ask the "Manager", whom I paying order to, if they participate inmilitary discounts. Scoffing, the male employee says no. I said "ok, that's fine," and proceeded to pay. I walk to the bench tosit down, and as I'm walking I notice the same person talking about me mockingly to the other employees. I only wait about twominutes when my order is complete & I leave. Some of the best pizza I've ever had. Reasonably priced too.

Fast service, very affordable prices, and most importantly pizzas are always made with generous and even topping distribution.... Nothing worse than when you get shorted on toppings, or when all of the toppings are dumped on one side, and papa murpheys neverdoes that. Large 6$ salads and great deals on large pizzas. Read more
