Came during Halloween. They decorated and everyone looked amazing. Food was delicious as always from Boomerang.
Great place for a quick tasty burger. Had their root beer in a frosty mug. Wait staff were excellent. It's a shame that downtown... Shawnee, after dark, has so many homeless people camping out on the sidewalks. Read more

I got the chance to visit while working out of town. I am from the Dallas Texas area, and many people recommended that I stop in... and check this place out. Man, I am GLAD I did. Everyone that worked there was very kind and accommodation and they had some ofthe best fries I have had in a long time! The entire atmosphere of the place was nostalgic and welcoming! Really disappointed with my first experience here. Not much of a wait for a table, figured this was a good sign. Got a table,... ordered fairly fast, got drinks. Yay! Then the wait began. Had great company so not boring. However, I watched two other tablescome in, order, get served, ate and left. An entirely different waitress walks by and asked if we were good, I said yes, justwaiting for food. She walked away. 15 min later a third waitress came by and asked if we needed refills. Yes of course, we stilldon't have food. Filled our drinks, no ice. Warm sweet tea is awful. Finally 10 minutes after that, our food arrives in the armsof a fourth waitress. Food was mostly cold, bacon was hard as a rock. We ate quickly as we had been waiting for an hour for thefood to arrive. While I was cutting into my pancake, the first waitress drops the check and takes off. The second waitress comesup when I'm halfway through my plate and starts pulling plates asking if we want our drinks to go. One of my companions statedhe was still hungry. She demanded to know if he wanted something else or if he was just saying that. My partner went to pay, weleft. For all the cute commercials you would think it would have been better. Can't say if the food was good since it was coldand I didn't feel comfortable trying to finish my meal since she wanted us to leave so bad. I really love small town restaurantsand small businesses but this is a place I will never return to. So disappointed. Read more
