Had breakfast at the Grand on the 31st of July. We were charged twice for our meal. We caught the overcharge later that day.... When we called the Cafe about it, the person told us the machine had malfunctioned. Why she didn’t address it then isanyone’s guess. She should have told us when it happened, not later when we caught Grand Cafes error. She is supposedly theManager. She stated that the amount would be credited back to our account within 24 hours. 84 hours later, no resolution. wecall her back and the story changed. Now we have to wait for an Audit on Monday, the 10th of August for it to be addressed andanother 5-7 days to be credited. Why would she change the story? Laziness, incompetence, or is it something else? The personsname is Melissa. I’d give zero stars if I could because along with the uncredited overcharge, and poor customer service, thebreakfast was cold. The only reason for us to come back would be to talk to someone who knows what they are doing so they cancredit our account for double billing us and then acting like we are imposing for asking them to fix their mistake, if indeedthat’s what it was. I am so disappointed in the french onion soup I just got from here! We were here 3 months ago for our anniversary and I got the... french onion soup. It was so good I couldn't wait to get it again when we came back home from North Dakota. My husband triedto surprise me with my favorite soup from here tonight and it is nothing but some onions in some brown water. Almost no flavorat all! What happened to this wonderful soup! Read more

Hostess told us and other hotel guests there was a 30 minute wait when there were at least 8-10 empty tables. When I questioned... it she said they were “pretty busy”. I would rather she just explained they were short staffed if that was the case ratherthan insulting our intelligence when there were obviously several empty tables. When we mentioned this to the hotel front deskthey just blamed the cafe as being under different management. Very poor customer service and poorly trained employees. Theemployees at hotel should work in conjunction with cafe as it is only breakfast option for hotel guests. Read more
What a great meal, Maryland crab cakes delicious, and mushroom cap very good. The Kentucky hot brown sandwich excellent. Only... one thing wrong with Togo order they forgot my au juice. French dip great. Wish ate there at lunch. Ate Buffet, horrible leftovers from night before, ribs over cooked-burnt. Couldn't eat it. They need chefs in buffet not cooks. Read more
The Cafe is operating out of the Grand Sports station. So they are technically "open". Love the Cafe! Can't wait until they get... to operate from their original spot! Read more
