Updated review: After many, many meals here, we still recommend it! They a not perfect, but redeem themselves easily. Last visit... we had the petite fillet and the cheese steak sandwich- bothered were delicious! I still recommend this fine establishment. Wehad a fantastic New Years Eve dinner at at Theopolis! Ceviche, pulled pork salad and Surf-n-Turf! Everything was great! Servicewas excellent, wine pairings and palet-cleansing lime sorbet & champagne. Thus place cannot be beat! Read more
Theopolis hits it out of the park every time and today was no exception. We weren't too enthused about making breakfast today so... Plan B(runch) was an easy choice. Head downtown and visit the Theopolis, of course! If you haven't had Theo's chicken andwaffles, you simply have not had chicken and waffles. Food is great, staff is amazing, ambience is "big city" in our littlecity. For those of you that have not visited, you are missing a true gem here in downtown Shawnee. Treat yourself! Read more
So you’re in Shawnee USA and wanting a great cocktail and tasty dinner? No need to drive to OKC’s Plaza or Paseo District.... Just head to the Theopolis Social Club. How did I miss this hidden jewel?!? Get the old fashion 10/10. Get the chili or theShawnee cheese steak. Get anything on the menu cause these people know what they’re doing. They say if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. I could therefore talk about how great this place... is for a novel. Nice little spot with a cute hipster/ reclaimed feel. Food is insanity level good and the portions are big notnot huge. Do not avoid the cheese plate, doing so shall be your biggest regret. I am not a local, bit if I ever pay nearShawnee again, you can bet I'll be here. This place is legit good enough to be in Manhatten or Vegas. Read more
