If you are looking to experience a true Wisconsin supper club, this hidden little gem is perfection, Definitely worth the time,... Excellent staff, family friendly. We enjoyed our perfect Old Fashions, Prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes, & French fries,salad, vegetable cheese soup, and rolls. I wish we would have had room for dessert. Ok I'm a bit reluctant to give this review as this place is a real gem. I'll tell you and then I'll have at deal with extra... competition. It's hard to say what's best the food of the crazy lovable staff. They were so happy and really knew how to serveyou. I had a tenderloin sandwich and it was so tender and cooked to perfection. Was the best I've ever had and for 11 bucks? Mywife had the walleye and they pan fried it to her liking. My next trip Ill go to the Prohibition Bistro for Founder's Porter ontap and then swing by here for dinner. Thanks for a fun evening! Read more
Number one their food is fantastic number two their drink prices are very reasonable I had the broasted chicken with broasted... potatoes and coleslaw, everything was wonderful and I had blind Russian which is vodka, Kahlua, and Baileys Irish Cream and itwas very good, I would highly recommend this place and I would highly recommend making your reservation by Wednesday for theweekend because they fill up fast. A little hidden homestyle gem worthy of its reputation. Great service, good food (steaks), and overall small town vibe. 1hr seat... time and no Amex accepted are considerations, but otherwise fantastic. Read more
It was a Friday during lent so we sought out a Fish Fry while staying in the area 2 months ago. Yelp reviews directed us here... and glad they did!! We posted up at the bar and had a few Wisconsin Old Fashioned?s and after a 20 minute wait, our table wasready. I will say everyone was friendly and while it?s filled with locals, alcohol brings everyone together! The perch fishfry was amazing as was the server and it was a nice portion served which was 2 large pieces and fries. I?m not sure we?ll beback in this neck of the woods anytime soon but I would come back here for sure! Some parking available but a tip here. For anafter dinner drink at the bar, get a Dirty Girl Scout. It?s the perfect after dinner drink. Read more
Fantastic night! Great food and drink! Delicious home made desserts too! The atmosphere is something to be seen by everyone!... Makes you feel at home with great nature views. You can watch the birds and the deer just outside the windows! Read more
Majerles is a really really good local spot if I do say so myself! The Grill has a really homely feel to it inside and out, like... a little wood cabin in the middle of the forest while the inside is a tightly knit bar and restaurant that's easy to move aroundin and pretty to boot! Service was grade A, nice to talk to and courteous as all heck. Food was great, cheese curds were tasty,and the turkey reubon I got was tasty on all ends and all at a ridiculously great price to boot. Fantastic experience! The staff are clearly a well-oiled machine that have worked together for years- bar staff and dining room... staff provide high level, attentive service. The food was very good, prices reasonable, and was a quintessential Wisconsinsupper club atmosphere?in all the good ways! A note: reservations are highly recommended, which we didn?t know (our fault), butwe were still seated in an hour, which gave us time for cocktails in the bar. ????Thanks for making our anniversary memorable!
